| We have a few on the east coast. I think Jimbo might be over there too. I think that one guy Thomas whatever that use to post in the politics threads is on the east coast as well. Also Oggy. | |

| Yeah they sent us home from work today at 12:30pm in preparation. May or may not be open tomorrow. So far I've still got power but I don't expect that to last too much longer. We could be getting anything from 39 to 75MPH winds and 5 to 11 inches of rain per hour. Jersey and Long Island is where people need to really worry, though. New Jersey declared a state of emergency yesterday and evacuated. They're supposed to get hit by the center of this thing. If I die I leave My copy of BF3 to Killer, and Ali's butthole to Beast. I know ya'll will treat My possessions well after I'm gone | |

Really? Because in My entire life on the east coast I've never ever heard of a hurricane combined with a noreaster hitting the coast like this. This is supposed to be much worse than Irene last year, and the newscasters are saying it could be the worst hurricane here since the 1938 hurricane that killed 800 people and destroyed 57,000 homes. Does it ever get tiring being such an idiot, Farmer? Just keep worrying about who ate what when they were 6 and where they ended up or whatever it is you're good at.

It wasn't even a hurricane when it hit. It's news because its east coast and not Orange, TX. Real reporters have been quoted staying it won't even crack the top 10 in the last 50 years.

| I have power still. Looks like the worst of it is over for CT, but New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia all got fucking hammered by this thing. Flooded subway tunnels(worst subway disaster of all time), NASDAQ and Stock Market going to be closed for two days for the first time in over 120 years, 50+ homes burned down in Queens, Levies in NJ broke and massive flooding, electrical fires and shit, and WA got covered in like 3' of snow. Where are those "real" reporters saying it wouldn't be top 10 in the last 50 years now, Farmer? | |

Sounds like the northeast wasn't prepared for a tropical storm.

| So you'll never guess what happened. About an hour after I wrote that the worst was over for me here I lost cable and internet yet still have power. I'm posting this from my phone. Hopefully everything is squared by tomorrow night. Have we heard from oggy and primetyme since all this went down? | |
