Main-event winner Antonio Silva ($70,000) and co-main-event winner Jake Ellenberger ($84,000) were the top earners at UFC on FX 5 earlier this month.

Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker room" or special bonuses Zuffa LLC oftentimes pays.
For example, as previously reported, UFC officials handed out additional $40,000 UFC on FX 5 bonuses to Johnson ("Knockout of the Night") and Edwards ("Submission of the Night"), as well as Nunes and Palaszewski ("Fight of the Night").
In other words, the above figures are simply base salaries reported to the commission and do not reflect entire compensation packages for the event.
Additionally, the numbers don't include the money the UFC paid to Dennis Hallman and Thiago Tavares. Hallman, who missed weight for the event, was a late scratch due to family issues. Hallman was paid $54,000 (his show and win money) and was released from his contract. Tavares earned his show money of $26,000 and was rebooked for a December fight with John Cholish.
