Or he was busy throwing for less yards and or touchdowns than guys like Ponder, Tannehill, Sanchez, Luck, Freeman, Cutler, etc etc etc when most of those guys are some of the least accurate passers in the league right now. Any time you want to stop gargling Smith's nuts like they're made of mouthwash is just fine.

But seriously the Russel Wilson part was pure comedy and Eli was funny as hell with that "you'll probably miss me and hit a DB instead".

Maybe its you that need to ease your hate up. If you didnt have some deep hatred for Smith maybe somebody acknowledging that he's a good QB..which he is...wouldnt make your blood boil as much as it clearly does. Somebody else negged your post before i did...so obviously you have taken your pant shitting on Smith too far that it's not only a 49ers fan that thinks you need to change your diapers because you're stinking up the room.

Nobody said Smith isn't a good quarterback. But to imply that he's elite when he's thrown only 21 touchdowns in the last 20 regular season games is so telling of homerism that it isn't even mildly humorous anymore. Nothing has My blood boiling, but enough is enough already with trying to force 49ers propaganda on everyone. Arguing that a quarterback, who in 73 games has only 2 performances with 300+ passing yards, is elite is about as stupid as it gets. The numbers don't lie, and if he was elite you wouldn't have to lurk around the sports section trying to convince everyone that he is.

Without an A+ defense to back it up the 49ers go back to being 8-8 at best each year.
