| http://mmajunkie.com/news/30910/ufc-on-fuel-tv-5-ratings-replay-outdraws-live-broadcast.mmaApparently fight fans aren't crazy about afternoon mixed martial arts. This past weekend's overseas UFC on FUEL TV 5 event actually drew a larger audience for a replay (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT) than the living airing (4 p.m. ET) on FUEL TV, MMAjunkie.com today confirmed with industry sources. Together, the two broadcasts scored 251,000 viewers. The live broadcast scored a 0.25 household rating and averaged 111,000 viewers. The replay scored a 0.29 rating and averaged 140,000 viewers six hours later. UFC on FUEL TV 5 took place this past Saturday, Sept. 29, at Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England. In the co-headliners, Stefan Struve knocked out fellow heavyweight contender Stipe Miocic, and veteran welterweight Dan Hardy picked up his second straight win with a decision victory over Amir Sadollah. The six-fight main card followed prelims that streamed on Facebook. Among the five UFC on FUEL TV events to date, the latest ranks last (whether you consider the live or delayed broadcast). The all-time UFC on FUEL TV ratings include: UFC on FUEL TV 1 ratings: 217,000 viewers UFC on FUEL TV 4 ratings: 211,000 UFC on FUEL TV 2 ratings: 197,000 UFC on FUEL TV 3 ratings: 173,000 UFC on FUEL TV 5 ratings: 111,000 | |

| Seems like there's been a gradual decline with each card, why is that ? |

I dunno about that, the last event was up. This event was in the middle of the day and I'm sure college football hurt that number big time.

| I didn't even know it was on at 4pm est until the day of the fight. I don't have fuel tv so i couldn't watch it anyway. I blame it on growing pains. This same card on Spike would've topped all the other fuel shows. Everyone carries spike, but not fuel. Calling my provider only gives them the opportunity to upgrade my channels. At least i have fx. | |

| Football definitely hurt the ratings. It still would've done better if it was offered in more homes. | |

Yeah the UFC is trying to build up that channel. The ratings are still way up for FUEL compared to pre-Zuffa.

Not working out yo No way out of it for now. I wonder if they could move some events to FSN since baseball regular season is over, atleast until the NBA starts back.
