Assuming it's true. What should they do about Jones and UFC 151?

Assume the main event is broken. How do you fix it?

Assuming it is possible, would you rather have Mousasi or Machida?

What about Phil Davis? He should still be in shape from his last fight?

Could we see a fighter from another weight class like Vitor? Or some HW?

Machida will man up, that is the fight. If Jones wants to bitch about it let him, he is a fighter, that is the job he chose, he isn't the promoter or match maker, he doesn't get to dictate how the business of his bosses is conducted. White should put him in his place on this one.

What about Phil Davis? He could be one of the better options considering how his last fight went down. Jones mentioned him by name when responding to a question about cleaning out the division. Just a thought. Machida is probably where the smart money is. Based on his last fight making weight should be easy.

In order of likelyhood IMO.
1.Machida
2.Davis
3.Hamill(Bones only "loss")

I don't consider Davis a worthy contender at this time. I would not consider him for this fight. Plus Jones insufferable bitching would be ten times worse if it was made for the same reasons he doesn't think Machida deserves to fight with him, he doesn't want to rely on his opponents potential PPV draw ability since he is not confident in his own drawing ability.

we all know machida doesnt take short notice fights but who knows and on a side note I have to admit im going to be fucking ill if this is true as I have been pumped for this fight.

From the sounds of it Bones would prefer Davis over Machida because it would be new blood. That's how I took it. He mentioned that Machida wasn't just the draw. It was that he difficulty to draw ratio was by far the worst for him.

The Pitbull vs Curran fight makes this sting that much worse. 2 matchups I was very high on. Extremely disappointing.
