As of right now it's just 4 teams for the playoffs. I could make it 6 teams and give the top 2 teams a bye. That would shorten the regular season even more. Also I can make it all just 1 division so that the top 4 teams go no matter what.

I like both ideas.

Also I'm not a big fan of the 2 week playoff matchups. I could change that to 1 week and then move the playoff teams to 6 and have 2 byes with no divisions, the best teams get in.

I like the idea of no divisions and doing the playoffs like you said:

NFL week 14 - Playoff week 1 - Wild Card
1 - bye
2 - bye
3 vs 6
4 vs 5

NFL week 15 - Playoff week 2 - Semifinals
1 vs 3/6
2 vs 4/5

NFL week 16 - Playoff week 3 - Finals
1//3/6 vs 2//4/5

That is what I did. Making the playoffs only 1 week instead of two gives us 1 more regular season matchup. But it all ends up playing out just like you listed. No divisons so it gives the top 2 teams a bye. We have a situation in the Baseball league I'm in with Mantis where every team from 1 division will get in the playoffs since the other division is much weaker. But the downside is the winner of the weak division will get the 2 seed and the BYE even though they will have the worst record of any playoff team.

Well tomorrow is a BBQ draft, we usually buy the UFC ppv every year this weekend, but not this year. So I burned UFC 139 prelims and ppv.

the order is random, just go to the league homepage before the draft time and you join the live draft. I think you can get in as early as an hour before the draft starts.
