| I don't remember seeing and can't find any thread about who is next or a thread about how do your rate it? I personally would rate the event pretty low, probably a 4 or 5. I did not enjoy it very much.
Bendo vs Nate- already set Frankie vs Cub Swanson or Gray Maynard- then give him another title shot, seriously. Even though I hate this guy. Cowboy vs Pettis- seems to be all but "official" at this point. Melvin vs Gleison Tibau-coming off losses, both probably still top 10 LW in the UFC. Jake Shields vs Yushin Okami- might be boring, but it makes sense. Yushin Okami vs Jake Shields- above Ed Herman vs CB Dollaway

| Would be cool if we could this... Frankie vs Gil or Alvarez- too bad Frankie can't do a crossover fight with Gil, also too bad Alvarez won't be in the UFC for a few more months. Fun matchups.
Jake Shields vs Maia at a catchweight. Jake went up, Maia went down. But still an interesting matchup. Do it at 180.
Or Roger Gracie vs Jake Shields- both are at MW right now, just sounds like an interesting matchup.

| This is going to sound dumb but what if Melvin were to cross over to SF and fight Thompson? Both are exciting to watch. The winner of that fight gets a shot at Gil? He has no competition left.
Just an idea. | |

- "I think people have seen some really great fights of Jake’s where he’s tapped people out with one-arm guillotines and stuff from the mount and all these other things he’s done, armlocks and everything, and I think for Jake, he needs to really get back into that, to finishing. We’re not going to change a tiger at this point in the game. We have to [say], ‘Look, Jake. This is what got you here. It’s finishing people. You’re a world-class grappler. Let’s focus on finishing.’ There’s so many great 185-pounders. Jake has already fought Okami. Jake beat Okami. Hopefully they’re going to give him somebody else, is what I’m hoping for, but like I said, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did want that matchup."

| The Okami fight was six years ago both fighters have evolved and improved vastly since then. |

I think Okami has improved. Jake IMO has not done much improving. Maybe he just looked like ass at WW, but I dont think I will ever be impressed by him.

Kind of crazy that Jake has a win over the current LHW and WW #1 contenders. I am not saying he sucks I am just saying he has never been an exciting fighter. I dont think he has gotten any better either. But once again that could have just been WW was not where he needed to be. Either way he should fight Okami.
