| I don't think Gil has an argument at this point in time only because of the razor thin decision over Thomson in his last fight. I realize Thomson might just be "that guy" who will always give Gil problems regardless of how they look outside of one another, but it hurts the guy's rank to have such a closely contested fight against a barely top 15-20 lightweight going in. | |

Yeah, looks like Bird ranking Joe would have moved him up 1 slot. Also looks like Thompson should be tied for 12 instead of listed at 14. | |
