None working with me here. A couple of Al Bundy high school stars and that's it. I do see alot of that in this biz and real estate. Insurance also. Chris Redman sold insurance before petrino threw him a bone and picked him up when he coached the falcons. He just got cut, so i would imagine its back to insurance to help with that ridiculous mortgage he probably has on his house.

We have a few former OU football players that sell real estate around here. My town isn't quite small enough for High School stars to sell cars or anything. But in some of the towns that have only 1 high school it's pretty common.

Well captain, looks like that win at Arkansas is more possible than I thought. I didn't think Arkansas was as good as everyone was thinking after losing petrino, but lol.

They beat OU in Norman a couple years ago. It's really difficult to defend that option since you don't see it very often. They sneak out wins and make games close because teams aren't prepared and they are so efficient with it. Especially when they catch you before or after a big game. Sneaky sneaky.

It's very possible that ND loses all 5 of the games coming into the OU game. They have a tough stretch coming up.

LSU will play the remainder of the season without Tahj Jones, one of its most experienced linebackers, as well as three other players, coach Les Miles confirmed Wednesday.

Miles was asked about reports concerning the players' academic eligibility during Wednesday morning's SEC coaches teleconference.

Although he did not disclose specific details, Miles acknowledged that Jones, offensive lineman Evan Washington, tight end Tyler Edwards and linebacker D.J. Welter would not play this season.

"Those guys will not play this year," Miles said. "I don't know if I can tell you specifics."

How's everyone doing? I haven't checked the thread but I bet there is mention of me when Boise got beat. Boise is a level below what they have been in recent years but they aren't into the Frankenstein Big East conference until next year. I think ND can surprise some people but tonight will tell the story. The only other team I root for is Miami and they got whupped by KState. I'm hoping the U can compete in the weak ACC at least.

Yeah they have been shit for years now. They went 2-6 in the Big 12 the last 3 years they were in it. They will get crushed often.

I think ND should be the favorite in every game until OU. Stanford and Michigan are both good teams but those games are at South Bend. OU should win though. I don't know what to expect from the Big 12 this year. They added quality with WVU and TCU.

Wow 7-6? Glad I didn't watch that game. I didn't know it was on yesterday but I guess it makes sense, why else would they mention that game on the radio yesterday?

I can't beleive Clemson is ranked in the top 10. I saw them play Auburn. That team is not better then K-State. Probably not even a top 20 team.
