Strange how a band like Pink Floyd can appear in band lists of intellectuals and also of people who specifically enjoy only the most banal and low brow of product oriented corporate idiot rock such as Linkin Park, Nickleback and Disturbed.

I've been waiting for a Faith reunion forever. As far as Slayer/Sepultura albums, I would go with Reign in Blood/Seasons in the Abyss and Beneath the Remains/Chaos AD as my two favorites for each respectively

A lot of the music you named unfortunately is product, manufactured in a studio with focus group information and record executives, and not art created by those trying to express yourself. Why on earth would you be mad at people criticizing this?

I actually kinda like five bands on your list, and two of them, Metallica and Pink Floyd are two of my favorites. Metallica could be on my list as easy as anyone else.

Thanks... kinda. My intentions wasnt to try to be outside of the box.. Those are my favorite "rock" bands and it will always be ever changing. I am always looking for new sounds and styles.. music is pretty important to me (I actually started off going for a Music Business Degree, many reasons changed my mind) and I put a lot of time and effort into it...
