| The Pai Mei sequence in the 2nd volume ends the discussion before it begins. | |

| Really matters you're taste considering they are two different type of movies. Do you like movies with fun mindless violence and gore? Or do you like movies with witty dialogue and deep satire?

| I prefer the first one because of the house of blue leaves scene, It's just great fun and RZA's soundtrack was out of this world. I also love the flashback anime scene with O'renoshi.
Do you know the bald leader of the crazy 88 gang also plays Pai Mei.I know I am a geek. |

| I used to prefer Vol. 2 because it was more of the QT style of writing im used to. The wedding rehersal scene, the Michael Madsen stuff, Pei Mei was very good but the whole thing with O-Ren and the foot soldiers was epic and the highlight of both films..They both offer something different. Vol. 1 is more style and action...the animation, fight scenes, music, etc. Vol.2 is more great dialogue...but i seem to find myself watching Vol.1 more nowadays | |

| I only bought the first one on Blu Ray, can't bring myself to fork out the dough for the second one. |
