Attn: Apple Store Fraud

Yo ladies and gents. Was just looking through my bank statements and saw a few transactions for apple store. Four of them totaling $80 over the past month for gift cards. I have an Ipod nano and have never bought a song or anything else from apple in my life.

Been doing research and since May, the same type of fraud has been getting heavy, I've found a thread almost 2,000 posts deep with 300,000 views on it and a lot of other discussions about it. I wonder how they got their hands on all this credit info. Most people have been getting hit small, for around 80 bucks, so it is less noticeable.

This was the description for the charges on my bank statements:
APL*APPLE ITUNES STORE 866-712-7753 CA ........... $20.00

Might be worth checking your bank statements for that purchase description.

damn that would be bad for Apple if its a big time scam

Damn that sucks man. I have itunes for my phone and I have used it for apps and videos and songs over the years. But no fake charges that I have ever seen?
