Silva - Mark Munoz/Chris Weidman winner
Sonnen - Blecher or Franklin (if Stann & Bisping fight)
Griffin - David (if he beats Prado)
Ortiz - Liddell (why not?)
Le - Okami in China
Cote - ehhh.... who cares
Maia - Jake Shields (is he booked right now? Can't think of who if he is)
Kim - Ellenberger
Mendes - Ricardo Lamas (for #1 contender)

You know what, I want to see Silva vs. Shad at either MW or LW, he's 37 now and has defended that title eleven times so it's time for some interesting match ups for Andy, he's earned them.

I also think it's time we got another Forrest vs. Bonnar.

I would love to see Cung Le vs. Leben.

As for Chael I wouldn't mind seeing him test the LHW waters next.

I'd rather see Chael try 205lb against someone like Murdaface. Bones might soon run out of opponents and could use a villain like Sonnen next year.

http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2012/7/8/3145192/ufc-148-results-whats-next-for-main-card-fighters
Anderson Silva - This is one of the biggest question marks. I hate using terms like "cleaned out the division" because there are always new contenders, but Silva might come the closest to fitting the definition. To me, it seems like there are three possibilities. The first is Hector Lombard, if he can get through Tim Boetsch at UFC 149. Dana already said it was a possibility, but that was when he was still fighting Brian Stann. The second possibility is the winner of the Mark Munoz vs. Chris Weidman fight at UFC on Fuel 4 on Wednesday. The third is a major longshot, but wouldn't surprise me considering the drawing power of both men - Michael Bisping.

Chael Sonnen - Wanderlei Silva or Vitor Belfort seem like the most likely candidates. Chael has drawn both men, particularly Silva, into a war of words and both are fights that would sell. Belfort is more suitable rankings-wise, but Silva would do a better job of building the fight and is also coming off a loss. A third candidate could be Rich Franklin, who Sonnen was talked about as well.

Forrest Griffin - Everyone is clamoring for a third fight between Griffin and Stephan Bonnar, but how can you really justify that? Griffin won the first two, and has faced much better competition than Bonnar lately. Bonnar has won three in a row, but still. Personally, I'd rather see Griffin take on the winner of the Lyoto Machida vs. Ryan Bader fight at UFC on Fox 4.

Tito Ortiz - No one. He's retired.

Cung Le: He will be fighting on the Macau card in November. But who do you throw him in there with? Could they go back to the original matchup with Rich Franklin? Or maybe put him in against a young up-and-comer like fellow UFC 148 winner Constantinos Philippou? If they're going to pay him 150k+, you'd figure he'd be facing top-tier guys. I think Chris Leben's suspension ends six days before the Macau card goes down. I know they say they don't book guys coming off suspension until they're re-licensed, but this wasn't a commission suspension. They acted as their own commission for UFC 138 and suspended him themselves. So it's at least in the realm of possibility. Just sayin'.

Patrick Cote: He'll obviously keep his job for at least one more fight. I expect to see him on the November card in Montreal, and I think a great opponent would be Alessio Sakara.

Demian Maia - Depending on how hurt Kim is, they could try and book that bout again. If not, a bout with Mike Pyle would be cool. If Matt Hughes wants to fight again, put him in there with Maia. I'd pay to watch that.

Dong Hyun Kim - It all depends on the extent of his injury.

Chad Mendes - Someone who can actually compete with him. Ricardo Lamas seems like a natural fit coming off that big win over Hatsu Hioki.

Cody McKenzie - Someone in Tachi Palace. Okay, okay I'll stop going overboard on the McKenzie hate train. Maybe the loser of the Nam Phan vs. Cole Miller bout at UFC on Fox 4?

Mike Easton - While he definitely won his fight with Menjivar, he didn't exactly look like a title threat while he was doing it. A bout against the winner of the Yves Jabouin vs. Brad Pickett fight at UFC on Fuel 5 seems like a good step up in competition.

Ivan Menjivar He didn't really have a lot for Easton and took a huge hit in his hopes for a title shot. He's still an exciting fighter though and will probably fight in Toronto or Montreal later in the year. Give him the winner of the Alex Caceres vs. Damacio Page fight at UFC on Fuel 4.

Silva- I'm interested in Lombard if looks good in his UFC debut. I also still want to see Vitor get his rematch. I'd prefer both of those over Munoz-Weidman.

Sonnen- Sonnen wants to be a World Champion. What about fighting for the SF title? Not much left in SF MW division. So why not? Besides that I'd still like to see a Bisping rematch. If Timmy B loses to Hector that would be another good matchup.

Forrest- Fuck it, why not have him fight Bonnar? Forrest doesn't appear to have much left in the tank but I think they would entertain once again. I thought Forrest fought hard vs Tito.

Le- Robbie Lawler, I know this isn't possible but I think Le vs Shlemenko just seems like a fun fight.

Cote- it was a short notice fight. I wonder if he had a full camp if he would have had enough in the tank to put Le away in the 3rd. Cote vs Leben sounds about right.

Maia- Sanchez or Pyle seem like good matchups. Sanchez might be an easier name to sell.

Kim- Ellenberger or Rick Story.

Mendes- Would love to see him fight Crusher, obviously won't happen. Lamas makes sense.

http://mmajunkie.com/news/29644/cung-le-meets-ufc-boss-tonight-to-discuss-ufc-on-fuel-tv-6-fight.mma
Cung Le (8-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) got a lot of high-fives from friends who cashed in on his underdog status at UFC 148.

More important, though, is what his win over Patrick Cote buys him – namely, a headliner spot at UFC on FUEL TV 6 in Macau if UFC president Dana White gets his way.

The forecast on that is pretty good, according to Le.

"I'm going to talk to Dana tonight after [UFC on FUEL TV 4] and see what we can work out," he today told MMAjunkie.com Radio (www.mmajunkie.com/radio).

Le is in a walking boot after suffering a bone bruise in his UFC 148 fight fight that will keep him out of the gym for four to six weeks, if he heeds doctor's orders. His knee is "pretty banged up." But he said he's game to fight overseas in November.

"I'm totally down," Le said. "It's just all about recovering right now."

UFC on FUEL TV 6 is targeted for Nov. 10 in China's version of Las Vegas, though a venue hasn't been set. The night's main card airs on FUEL TV.

Yeahp, but Sakara vs Cote is as much of a bottom of the barrel fight for your job fight as there is in the UFC MW division today imo. Still, I think it could be entertaining. I have Cote.
