| lol, that moment when the nuthugger admits that the refs are shady but then notes "thats not why they are losing though"
i missed the game, as i slept through it just like game 2..but attacking the hoop is a low percentage game plan for OKC because the refs won't put them on the line like they would for Miami. The whistles don't come for OKC like they do for Miami. I know i know...it just so happens every team with the biggest stars from the past 20 years happens to be the most agressive right? thats why the get all the calls? get the fuck outta here.

| Timmy, you are wrong. Those bad calls change the whole game. If the Heat players are in foul trouble they can't play as hard and might have to be seated which opens up the game more for the Thunder. Also getting bad call after bad call effects your psyche. |

| The officiating has been absolutely horrific. It's extremely one sided and this has not been a fair playing field. Stacked heavy against OKC and they are still losing nail biters. It's hard to watch this kind of robbery in action. It's sickening. | |

Not really...i don't follow the amatuer crap enough to know how officiating is in the NCAA but i know the NFL and MLB does not have the same problems with officials as the NBA does. Not from the media or public perception. The NBA does and you know they do. In the NFL, calls get blown from time to time...sometimes they have a huge impact but atleast in the last several years since the challenge or booth review has been installed i'm pretty comfortable i'm getting an honest game out of NFL officials. MLB umpires each have their quirks some of them are horribe, but those ones are honestly horrible and just have shitty strikezones that benefit certain pitchers and destroy others. That's true human error as they say, and i can accept that. it's the players you have to worry about. Why is the NBA treated differently? It's not like its only fans of teams that lose big games(and more often than not have a good case for shitty one sided officiating), the media knows and talks about the shady nature of the league for atleast the last decade and questions of the integrity of guys like Stern have been in question for years...it's because you can always count on them being equally bad every year and partial to star players and big market teams year after year. Is it that all of them are incompetent and there is just not one decent one? no, these guys could do better ...Donaghy was telling the truth when he said higher NBA officials tell the game officials how games in general are supposed to be called, with care for the star players.... In playoff situations to full blown manipulate the game if some extra money can be had by extending a highly rated series(WCF 2002) or getting the intended team(or in this years case, player) over the hump if needed. The NBA desperately wants LeBron to be a Jordan esque winner. There have been plenty of stat line stuffers in this league. We're seeing their intent here. They saw after game 1(a game also called in favor of Miami) that they needed to go more amps to 11 on the one sidedness, so they did....and yes, typically shady officiating leads to the team benefitting from it winning and the team getting the shitty end losing. You're smart enough to know that..it's no coincidence. Miami is hard enough to beat without them getting the benefit of bad officiating. Oh, and before anybody brings up Miami losing last year. Yes, the officials were shady in favor of Miami and it was noted by me throughout the series. Miami couldnt cash in on free throws as they were laughably bad at the line missing more than half of their FTA each game, obviously as a team they arent very good at efficiently getting FG's..atleast not last year.. and of course the league didnt count on James houdini act. This year, Miami is cashing in.

| Two things I've seen.
1. The Refs have been refs, meaning bad. Calls missed both ways, but some significant calls and no calls have gone in Miami's favor in this postseason, not all of them, but a few more then what has gone against them.
2. Miami is playing better and having the clutch moments work out for them that so many people wish they could keep faulting them for. They are putting it together at the end now, where it matters most. Lebron the superstar, no matter how much I want to rip on him, I gotta respect his value to winning games by his lonesome or with his team, the output of his work is winning this for the Heat more than anything else, including the refs.
