| Lol, Kwame Brown was the number 1 draft pick in the 2001 NBA draft. He would go on to be the worst number 1 pick ever. |

| I was gonna say Pervis Ellison was worse but even he was slightly better than Brown.
Nervous Pervis is worse because we picked him number 1.

| I think Michael Olowokandi was a pretty terrible #1 as well. | |

At least Olowokandi was a pretty good rebounder and at times defender. He was worthy of being an 11-20 pick. Kwame should've never been in the league. |

| What about Sam Bowie being picked over MJ? Kwame never panned out and Pervis was in the league for awhile and tore his knee up. It bent the wrong way. I'll never forget seeing that on SC. | |

ever? come on man Olokwandi was way worst and that was only several years before. Ya Kwame sucked but only reason he gets so much attention is he was Jordans first draft pick ever.

| Kwame has averaged double figure points in a season once and has averaged over 7rpg once. They both occurred in the same season so giving him a career best season of 10.9ppg/7.4rpg.
Olowokandi has averaged 2 seasons of over 10ppg and 4 seasons of over 7rpg. His best season was 12.3ppg/9.1rpg. |

| Brown played on some playoff teams.
Olokwandi was the worst center in the league on one of the worst teams in the league. Brown sucked, but I just remember Candy Man sucking real hard when he was avctually supposed to be more finished product than Kwame (coming out of High school)
Shit I think Beasley is one of the biggest busts I have seen in recent memory

| Brown played on playoff teams but he was the 12th man and anyone could've taken that spot. Don't make it look like he did anything to get those teams to the playoffs. I give you stats and you give me I remember he sucked real bad. |

| Bro Kwame Brown started on Lakers playoff teams. still played like shit but he accomplished more than the Cand Man.
Heres a good example of putting to much stock in stats. Did Sean Bradley suck ? Hell ya, he still had 7 season with a 14 point and 8 stat line. He still sucked, when your that big they try to run the offense through you.
Im saying I remember watching Olokwandi when he was hyped up. Then he just sucked he was killed, literally destroyed. With Kwame Brown we all knew he wasnt going to be a monster overnight,
Darius Miles was supposed to be the first Lebron, he was a big deal, Brown went first cause he was a center, but Miles was the first high schooler they thought could come in and ball quick. He broke the rookie record for HS rookies in the NBA before Lebron came along.
Miles averaged just under 10 points a game his rookie season and he topped out with 14 a season with Portland (the rebuilding years after the glorious Jail Blazers!)
I think Miles is a bigger bust than Brown because with Brown he always was a question mark, it all depended on how he adjusted to be being thrown to the biggest wolves in the league.
After Kobe became a star they were waiting for the next one and they were hyping Miles, Lebron and Sebastian Telfair. They had way more hype than Brown, I feel like. Still its easily one of the top 10 busts all time in NBA history.

| Bradley and Olowakandi were both better than Kwame. Also Kwame only started because the great Chris Mihm got injured |

lol Miles. I went to LeBron's first professional game at ARCO Arena and LeBron, Darius Miles, and Ricky Davis put on a show with dunks and ally opps. Of course, the Kings were still contenders at this time and we beat them by over 20 i think, but i remember these Cleveland fans behind me were cheering all game like they were winning saying how LeBron and Miles were going to win a bunch of championships together and they were the next Jordan and Pippen.
