| Turns out Jr isn't such a chump after all, Jr won by 7th TKO. |

| i've only seen a couple of chavez jr fights and it's obvious to me the guy has talent and can fight. i'd heard nothing but (mostly american) fans describe him as an out and out bum for years before i saw him fight, over protected by his management? certainly, a bum? definately not.
i'd favour martinez if they fought but i think that fight would be closer than a lot of people expect.

| Probably because he was fighting construction workers for a large part of his early career and people expected him to get trashed when he actually fought someone decent | |

| The reason Jr has been spoon fed low rate opponents for so long is because he had virtually no amateur experience.
Jr is massive for the division though, on fight night he's a Cruiserweight. |

| Figured this to be a pretty good fight and it was.
Would have been better, but Lee just could not handle Jr's strength and to a less extent his power. Still 6 competitive rnds followed by a KO? Can't ask for more then that.
Is Jr peaking right now? Is he naturally way bigger then Martinez? Maybe, but Sergio is a HUMUNGOUS step up from Lee, or anyone else Chavez has fought.
