Well guhdamnit they switched the article on me. Earlier said he now meets Glover.
If Shogun turns down Glover, and takes a fight with anyone not named Gus, he loses credibility with me. IMO Shogun has his way with Feijo, and Bonnar. Even though I think Bonnar could make it exciting.

I gotta agree with Freak on this one. Why would a guy just two fights removed from holding the title and coming off one of the best if not the best fight the 205 pound division has ever seen fight someone who's not even in the top ten? There's nothing to gain from fighting Glover for Shogun.
You're agreeing with Freak......
i was just reading this and thinking the same thing!

feijo> bonnar
but repped for not being a total douche
No doubt Feijo is better but I think Bonnar would be a fun fight.
Also, Im trying to change my ways. I have kind of trolled you guys in the past but am starting to enjoy this board and figure out the rules. I refuse to resemble Wolf any longer.

TATAME called Rua’s manager, Julio Heller, who guaranteed they never turned down a fight with Teixeira. In fact, Silva’s injury is not official to them yet.
“I just sent a message to the UFC. I’m waiting for their call”, Heller said. “(Turning down a fight with Glover) it’s not true at all.”
Julio said they’ll wait for the UFC before making further comments, and the decision to fight Glover, or any other opponent, is in Shogun and his coach Andre Dida’s hands.

Feijao or Glover would be awesome fights with Shogun. Both would be wars.

and Thiago Silva is in the top ten?
Thiago Silva was in the top ten until he spent over a year on suspension and then lost to Alexander Gustafsson. Thiago could easily be in the 8-10 range still depending on how his next fight goes.

Then why was he fighting Thiago? He's not even top 15.
Edit: jew beat me to it.
This from a guy who ranks Gustafsson and Davis ahead of Machida? How can I even take you seriously when you make comments like this?

I was basing it off of Bloody Elbow's rankings.
And Machida is overrated as hell. I realize he has fought top competition, but he's 1-3 in his last 4 fights and could easily be 1-4 in his last 5.

I was basing it off you being stupid, so I guess it's a push.

Like Machida 2 spots different. WOW

It's who you have in those spots that makes Me laugh. Thiago Silva isn't even top 15 according to you and yet beating him vaults Gustafsson above a permanent fixture in the division? Or Phil Davis who got thoroughly raped in his last fight. Fast approaching a point where discussing rankings with you is like discussing them with Freak.

I usually don't rank past 10. I used Bloody Elbow for that reference.
Gus is 6-1 and has completely dominated every fight but one.
Davis is 5-1 and has wins over Gus, Nog, and Stann. He's built a nice resume in a short period of time.
Machida is 9-3 with wins over Shogun (hard to count that one in my book), Evans, Couture (way past his prime), and Silva. A more impressive resume than either, but most of them fights happened about 3+ years ago. He's on a bit of a losing streak so he drops in my book.

Outside the big 5 the next 10 are basically interchangeable. Thiago Silva right now is between 11-15.
