IGN had a three hour livestream today of the game. I watched about 5 or 6 matches while I ate lunch; gun game, FFL, Domination, sticks and stones, a couple of TDMs. Ireally hadn't planned on buying this, I really can't say I felt any different after checking out the matches on the live stream. It just seemed too, familiar.

The game does a lot right, I'm starting to be as good at it as I was at 2010 and I feel like I'm only just now figuring out how to get the most of it for my style. But it's as fun easily with a lot more ways to have fun than 2010. Have only had time for about 5 online sessions though unfortunately since I bought it.

Rented it today and as expected it's epic.
Finally an FPS that lets you create a custom loadout for campaign missions.

I was persuaded after a long discussion with my old crew last night to pick this up. Probably will today.

As far as Call of Duty goes, it's between this and World at War for best in the franchise, but after all these years, the netcode is getting worse which is hard to stomach or imagine. As it stands only about 3 out of 5 matches end up being unplayable with my connection which is about 3 times more up (30) and down (6) load then is capable of even being used for online multi-player. Can't even call it connection of duty.

The connections are pretty crappy, I had alot of host migrating to go through today.
World At War is still my favorite in the series. I don't really rate Blops II as better than the original Blops, both the campaign and multiplayer were more enjoyable IMO.

It's not like GOW 2 levels of crappy is it? Those connections were unplayable. But that is why they worked so hard on the servers for GOW 3. GOW 2 was EPIC fail when it came to online play.

The netcode is some of the worst I have had to deal with in mulitplayer, part of the reason I got away from that series and have regretted buying this. If the netcode would of been functional, it would be like CoD finally getting the most out of the tired old engine. But as it stands, only World at War comes close in the whole series.
