Browne vs Rothwell for UFC on Fox 4

I think Browne is the real deal. He came into the UFC really raw but had only been fighting for literally a year before signing. He probably will make a highlight out of Rothwell.

Matchup mad sense after the last event. Good fight to see where both men are.

Yup the most logical fight for both. I wouldn't have put it on this card though.

I don't think you really know Ben. He has 32 wins, only 3 of those were decisions. Dude can finish on the ground and on the feet. 18 KOs and 11 subs. Out of 40 fights only 6 decisions. Ben finishes fights. Don't get it twisted.

The dude has not lived up to his potential that is for sure. Injuries didn't help things. Go ahead and watch a few more of his fights. He is far more likely to entertain then "stink up the joint".

He's only finished Schaub in the UFC.

You do realize he has fought more then 4 times in his career right? Like I said, you need a larger sample size before you judge him as a fighter.

Bringing up Rothwell's finishes from five years ago on while completely ignoring his underwhelming UFC tenure isn't really perspective is it? He has looked awful for years. He hits hard though and looks to be in MUCH better shape than I have seen him since has been in the big leagues. So maybe he'll return to being the finisher he once was.

Zuffa gave Ben a healthy contract, they obviously beleive he can make some noise. Like I said before Ben has been disappointing in the UFC so far. But he has also had some injury problems. But the dude obviously has potential and is more likely to finish a fight then not.

It's no use OU, newer fans to the sport like Ali and Wolf just can't grasp any form of MMA knowledge outside of their first hand experiences. They can look at results from fightfinder and Wiki, but they still can't relate or understand what they are looking at because they can't look beyond the scope of their own knowledge. They were not there to experience these fights first hand so you can't be too hard on them.

I have Browne in this, he has been looking good the past couple of years, better and better, and while Ben had a good KO last month, he didn't look good, he was getting swarmed and just started swinging. Browne has looked smart and will not charge in like Schaub did when he starts tagging Ben.
