a) winner vs loser

b) Gus is clearly being built up in a division full of guys that Jones has already destroyed and Machida despite being 1-4 or whatever he is in his last 5 and a victim of Bones already would probably beat him

Yo, right now in this division a first round KO of a solid fighter and a decision over a former champ and division staple in a main event is momentum brah. Sometimes hardcore fans who over analyze everything so much so closely lose perspective.

I think Stann might play spoiler here. I've not seen him beat on the feet since the WEC.

Stann isn't invincible he's got a habbit of getting a bit reckless when going for the kill.

I don't think he is invincible but I think he is technical and heavy handed enough to exploit Lombard's lack of tough opponents and short reach. Tough first match. No cupcakes for big contract signees in the UFC.

Thiago/Shogun is strange fight. Did Thiago steal Joe Silva's wife or something? First Gus now this?..Shogun has better technical striking, more power in his hands, and had a granite chin. The only thing that worries me is all the wars Shogun has been in over the years.
