Lesnar Admitted To Hospital (Sherdog Board)

Local radio here in Minnesota is reporting that Brock Lesnar is facing surgery on some kind of abdominal or intestinal problem. He has been hospitalized. I have no further details. Local radio mentioned this very briefly, it was only a few seconds. It was KTLK-FM 100.3, they are a FOX affiliate. I'll post more if they add more details.

They normally don't do surgery for IBS or Crohn's Disease... Makes you wonder what is going on there. Dana said no on the cancer question, so there's not much left... HMMMMM?

The reality, nobody knows the long term effects of steroids, yet everyone and their mother pontificates on the subject, essentially base on what they have heard from the media on the subject. Im not talking about a conspiracy theory. Im talking about the demonization of substance that is inaccurate. Check out the link below. Its a 10 minute special on how, believe it or not, there are no actual studies that say steroids cause these problems. In fact, the AMA was against its criminalization in 1990. What happens is, superstar athletes who may have used steroids will attribute anything that goes wrong with themselves to steroids, neglecting all the other bad habits they had, or even the possibility that some things are genetic and random. The biggest myth is roid rage. If this were true, don't you think you'd be hearing about bodybuilders constantly going off? Or better yet, where are all the bodybuilders who are dying young because of steroids? They dont exist. The reason pro wrestlers and nfl players die young has more to do with the other substances they take and the lifestyles they lead, then steroids. If the stories about steroids (none of which are supported by any studies or real data) were true, professional bodybuilders would have the highest incident rates because 100% of them use. The ones who dont compete in "natural" competitions.

uhhh jimbo my godfather was in the military and they put him on steroids back in the 60's he had alot of problems due to them and doctors flat out told him steroids damage the heart, intestines and abdomine, so thats jsut why i am quick to say uh oh doesnt look good

and before anyone argues with me he was an all american football player and lacrosse player for University of Army, and every player was given their "shots upon arrival and everyone gained atleast 20 pounds after recieving these "shots" my godfather went from 175 pounds to 225 almost instantly

on my opinion the biggest misconception about steroids is that they were only used from late 80s and up they have been around and used much longer than that

Steroids today are much healthier than steroids from the 60's. I don't think Lesnar is on roids because he would've been much more ripped if he was. Also, he's been huge since college.

ya he has been a beast since college but if youve ever seen people who use roids you will notice that not all have great bodies, they have weirdly proportioned love handles and shit like that

Being on roids doesn't mean you're going to be ripped. There are roids that will cut weight and there are roids that will make your retain water and look bloated. If Brock being on roids would surprise you then you need to wake the fuck up. It's very likely that he is on roids and not only him but a lot of other guys in MMA as well. Just because you don't fail a test doesn't mean you're not on them. People know how to cycle on and off and scientists are always in the lab coming up with new roids that can't be detected.

Sports and roids go hand in hand.

when I was in high school we had guys juicing.

I know a lot of guys that juice and they are all ripped. Not 1 of them has the shape Lesnar has. His body has been the same for 10 years now. If he was juicing it would've improved heaps.

It depends on what they were taking, their diet and how they are working out. Take a look at the world class power lifters, most have a gut that equals their chest size. The problem most people have is they wrongfully believe that juicing instantly turns you into a 4% bodyfat adonis. If you don't train and diet to put the juice to use, the juice does nothing but rot your organs and shrink your sac...

Look how ripped Floyd Landis is! There are PEDs for everything, made of everything. PEDs for body builders and gym meatheads are not at all like the ones athletes use. It's like comparing the weight lifting that they do with the stuff fighters do. Strength vs look. Performance vs appearance. You can't compare top secret pro athlete roids with Golds Gym dipshit roids anymore than you can compare MMA training with Golds Gym dipshit aerobic kickboxing.

High levels of testosterone can increase aggression, this is fact. Roids that do that would naturally cause aggression with some people. This isn't to say that everyone who uses some sort of PED is going to wig out, but this is an obvious fact. Certainly you don't dispute that hormones have an effect on emotion?
