Chorky, myself, and a few of our friends are going to UFC 101. I'm fucking excited. It's going to be amazing. I'm just hoping that nobody gets hurt before the event.

Seriously, what's better than watching Anderson Silva, Forrest Griffin, Bj Penn, and Kenny Florian live?

The Barn Cat is on the card too.

Is anyone else going to the event? If so, are you planning on hitting up the after parties?

101 has an awesome card and if you go to the weigh-ins, Q&A session or any after parties then YES you will meet fighters, trainers, industry people, etc.

ar and away, it's easier to meet MMA fighters and celebs than any other sport.

Yes, if you go to the weigh-ins, afterward the whole lobby area fills up with fighters and celebs, you can stand around there and get mad autographs and pictures.

I'm a VIP member of the UFC Fight Club. It gives me presale access to tickets, preferred seating at the weigh-ins, access to a special Q&A session with Dana and the fighters, VIP +1 for the Friday night pre-party and VIP +1 to the Saturday night after-party.

I'm going to be so wiped after the weekend!

Josh, I have tickets to 103 and my friends and I are planning on driving up on Friday to try to get to the weigh ins. Do you have to buy tickets to the weigh ins or how does it work?

The weigh-ins are basically 1st come, 1st served. If you are part of the UFC Fight Club, there is reserved seating up front Cool

, but the rest you have to wait in line to get in.

The best part is afterwards in the lobby area. Just a flood of industry people everywhere. If you really know your stuff, you can find a ton of lesser known fighters and trainers hanging out. Had a friend who went to 98 and skipped the mass of people around Matt Hughes to go talk for almost 10 minutes with Jay Hieron who was chilling over on the side, pretty much by himself.

Where do you find info for the weigh ins? How early do you think we'll need to get there to get good seats?
