| http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7683412/milwaukee-bucks-trade-andrew-bogut-stephen-jackson-golden-state-warriors-monta-ellis-sources-saysThe Andrew Bogut era in Milwaukee is over. The Milwaukee Bucks have traded Bogut and forward Stephen Jackson to the Golden State Warriors for Monta Ellis, Ekpe Udoh and Kwame Brown, sources confirmed to ESPN.com. Bogut was drafted first overall by Milwaukee in the 2005 draft and has averaged 12.7 points and 9.3 rebounds over his now seven-year career. Bogut's durability has been called into question as the 7-foot Australian has not played since injuring his left ankle in a game Jan. 25. In return, the Bucks welcome the instant offense that Ellis provides to pair with star point guard Brandon Jennings. Ellis, a veteran also in his seventh year, has career averages of 19.6 points and 4.4 assists and is already used to sharing the backcourt with a dynamic player, having worked alongside Stephen Curry since the 2009 season. The Warriors are also bringing back a fan favorite in landing Jackson. The volatile veteran was a key player on the Golden State squad that knocked out the top-seeded Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the 2007 playoffs. In addition to Ellis, the Bucks get Udoh (5.5 PPG, 3.3 RPG in 38 games this season) and journeyman center, and former No. 1 overall draft pick, Brown (6.3, 6.4 in nine games). |

| I'd only want that trade if we can get rid of Boozer. Deng, Gibson and Asik would make no sense. |

| That trade has no chance of happening without another team. The best player the Lakers would get is Carlos Boozer. Get the fuck outta here, he sucks | |

| Warriors media is flipping over here. The fans always overvalue their good players during bad years. They should be happy they are finally moving on from the undersized backcourt duo of Ellis and Curry. They'll put up numbers but them being the identity of the Warriors is a pure dead end.
In order to move on, you must let go. Warriors might actually start improving.

| Amick reported that the Kings don't want to extend Tyreke Evans, so he's probably on the block.
Honestly, Evans has not improved from his great rookie season. So great at getting to the hoop but if anything his outside shot has gotten worse, he can't do shit off the ball, and while he can be a great defender he often takes plays off on defense.
Kings have pretty much made the decision to build around DeMarcus Cousins as he is still considered "green" yet scores and rebounds among the best bigs in the league with less minutes and not even developed.
Amick said that the Warriors had offerend Monta Ellis for Tyreke...thankfully Geoff didnt take that crap.

Peace isn't worth shit. You looking for cap room or something? No, just that Gasol is a major improvement over Boozer and could get us over the hump. |

| Nothing special but my Lakers traded away Fisher and a first round pick to houston for Jordan Hill and traded Luke Walton, forward Jason Kapono and their 2012 first-round draft choice to cleveland for Sessions.
I wish we couldn've gotten a better PG somehow but I like it still.

| Rox give up not much and gets a 1st rounder and some old guys.
(Marcus Camby for Jonny Flynn, Hasheem Thabeet & a conditional second-round pick in the 2012 draft)
(Derek Fisher & a 1st rounder for Jordan Hill)
Its probably a good think to get another true big to help make a 1 year playoff run then get ride of 2 decent sized contracts.

Camby doesn't do much for me and Derek Fisher is somewhere between over the hill and washed up. The 1st round pick is nice and the real surprise is getting rid of Thabeet.

| Denver shipped off Nene, got McGee and Turiaf in return. Lakers got Sessions, finally got rid of Luke Walton. | |

We basically got rid of players who don't and won't play minus Hill who was a undersized back up out of position C and got 2 expiring contracts and a first rounder. Heard they might even cut Fisher and Camby is a step up than Hill for the remaining year.

| I guess Bulls, Heat and Thunder all interested in Fish. Could all use a backup PG that can shoot I guess. | |

| He is still a player that can hit a bit shot when needed. He wouldn't get the PT he did in LA. Even though freak doesn't know any better, the Bulls or any contender can use him off the bench. I think he could come in handy at times in the playoffs. I'd rather he take the last shot of the game then Rip. | |
