I like it when championship fights are stopped when it is clear it is over, not slightly early, a guy still trying to grab his opponent while standing is still in the fight. I am fine with the stoppage as it was.

It's wasn't the worst late stoppage but I def think it was late. Warren ate a few shots that I feel he didn't have too. It's all about being able to defend yourself right? Joe stopped defending himself after the first few big punches while against the cage.

That fight was stopped far too late. Looked like Joe was about to die in the cage.

Warren was also sleeping in his last fight and has probably taken more damage in his first 10 pro MMA fights then any other fighter in history. Has anyone seen any video of Joe since then? Are we sure he didn't die backstage?

Jimmy Smith said at the weigh in's that if he dropped the ego he can fight at 125. If Bellator plans on starting a 125 in the future..not sure if they are, Warren would be a good guy to take part in an inagural tournament.

Well he did wrestle at 130lbs, but he is also 35 year old. Interesting to see if he can do it.

It turns out those weren't even Joe's kids and after the concerned family took their kids away Joe continued playing with them for another 12 minutes before shooting a double leg takedown on the officers who came to arrest him for weird behavior. Maybe the stoppage was a bit late....ive just never seen an ULTRA COMBO done in MMA before.

That stoppage was terrible. No one here has called it the worst stoppage ever, just what it obviously was, UFC 6 bad. I stood up and waved it off after about the fifth punch after the first big knockdown because he was don and not defending himself but that ref was paying about as much attention to me as he was the fight. Zombie hands out front doesn't stop a beat mode onslaught.

I remember him saying between rnds that he thought he broke it.
I think that was after round 1.
Joe felt a snap, thought it was his hand but really it was his ego and will to win. He wanted out right there and then.
hmmm..not so sure about that. Warren arguably won that round, and the next. Though i had it 19-19 going into the third..there was no reason for Joe to want out. He was not tired and Curran's offensive was not exactly high volume in the first and second round. For somebody as tough as Joe, there is no reason to believe he wanted out...especially when he's bounced back from vicious first round beating versus Pitbull and Soto.

Joe won round 1, I'm pretty sure that was when he said the comment about his hand being broke. I thought he won a close round. But I was still confident at that point that Pat was going to catch him.
