| It's not that bad, for being on a new channel. Retards still tune into SPIKE thinking they are seeing live fights. | |

quit blaming Spike...it's because they are broadcasting on a more competitive night for the demographic...like it or not, the WWE is laying the Smackdown on the UFC in this time slot...and like it or not, there is crossover and if people are going to watch something scripted..they might as well watch the pro's do it. It may also show that people are tired of watching this crap.

| Gotta agree with Farmer here. Crossover on shows that aren't even in the same time slot have far less to do with this than being on a new network, terrible night of the week, and counter-programming by Spike. | |

| I don't buy the new network crap at all. I agree it's a bad night.
Also, while sports is entertainment. Sports entertainment is used to describe things that arent exactly sports but more aimed for entertainment purposes like a stage show. What goes on in the fall are sporting events that appeals to way more people of all demographics than both pro wrestling and TUF combined, it's not appropriate to bring it up. TUF isnt a sporting event. It's a reality show with obvious canned everything, nobody watches for the non official bouts between crappy fighters. They watch because of the reality show aspect and the canned fued between the coaches and getting to know the fighters for their personality..it certainly aint for their skill. Thats why people fall in love with TUF alum no matter how much they blow. I think it has an effect. Especially on a busy night like Friday. People might watch their canned beef between 8-10 and then go out when the other vienna sausage show comes on.
i have as much right to talk about TUF in the TUF threads as any of you.

| You do have every right to talk about TUF in a TUF thread. However when you don't watch TUF, don't like TUF, and want to pretend you know what your talking about even though you don't have your facts right, it becomes a redundancy for you to talk about TUF in a TUF thread. | |

| So, perhaps i was wrong about the time. I thought they ran at the same time, no big deal. However, im happy to find out they don't have a head to head excuse to fall back on, it can only go back to the product now..because this more than likely means that people are getting tired of TUF. The only thing that changes with each season is the coach feud becomes less convincing more WWE-ish and the fighters get worse and worse. People will eat shit for a long time without actually tasting it. It took me a season to notice they add canned beef and shit to the menu, it looks like it might take you guys a bit longer. Eat away. eventually you'll taste it.
It's a tired concept that has not delivered anything good by way of fighters and decent hype in seasons. The ratings are finally reflecting that. This was supposed to be the biggest season of TUF..all live and shit, and it's been a failure. This show helped the UFC in the past, it served a dual purpose of finding top prospects and hyping a fight. Now, most of the time they get journeymen and guys who have not even become top prospects on the smaller shows yet. It no longer serves that purpose. UFC no longer needs it. Nobody thinks it's a big deal to win the ultimate fighter anymore(not even the UFC, but they make money off the show, for now) because so many recent winners have proven to suck. Would really not be surprised if the UFC scrapes it in the next couple years or make it more of an international thing like they are doing in Brazil. Go do that shit in Russia and places that might need a reality show to get them to give MMA a chance..US is already over it.

I like Cruz more after seeing how he conducts himself as a coach on the show, it's not a window into his actual self I guess, but the guy comes off a lot better than Faber who looks increasingly douchy except for last week when they didn't seem to feature him as much.

| Why did Faber not go after Rio why the fire was hot?
Cofer vs Vinc is probably the most competive matchup we had this season since Vick/Cruickshank. Right now I am favoring Vinc.
If Cruz wins expect Sicilia vs Ogle and Saunders vs Rio.

| Watching last nights episode right now, thought Cruz handled Tickle's loss like the Dbg he is, could've been all constructed for the show but still, it could be my intense hatred for Cruz, but please Faber take this fool out on July 7th | |

| I will never understand why any professional fighter would want to have to brush their long hair out of their face every ten seconds whilst fighting what is just about always the most important fight of their life.
