Best Movie you Saw Last Year???

Mine was the Woody Allen, Owen WIlson movie

Midnight in Paris, I got damn near forced into watching it and then loved it, really great plot and story. Check it out if you haven't seen it.

What were your favorites?

The best movie I saw was probably Drive.

My favorite was Thor.

The only other answer I would accept over it would be Iron Man 2. But I would still disagree. For recent superhero movies it goes Iron Man 1, Thor, Iron Man 2. Unless you wanna throw in a X-Men movie.

Thor / Hulk (I need to rewatch Hulk since it came out so long ago)

I haven't seen Hulk, but I wasn't big on Capt. America. I hate the actor that played him but it wasn't just that. I enjoyed Thor quit a bit more personally. But you are right about Iron Man 1 being the clear #1.

I loved Thor because they completely nailed the scenes in Asgard, the casting was also spot on with Hemsworth as Thor and Hiddleston as Loki, and the actions scenes also delivered. Just the general tone and humor was right, Kenneth Brannagh done a superb job bringing Thor to the screen, it's a pity he won't be involved with the sequel.

Captain America for me was underwhelming, the ending was completely anti-climatic.

X-Men: First Class was good but no where near as great as the media hyped it up to be, Fassbender kicked ass as Magneto though.

I haven't seen Green Lantern yet but from the trailers and reviews it looks bad.

How come no one shows love to 13 assassins? Only other person I know that gave it love was GDP.

I guess it came out in 2010, but was on Netflix last year and that's where I saw it. Just look up the ratings that movie received.

I feel like 13 Assassins.

Definitely the surprise movie of the year.

I have never seen a Woody Allen movie so I stayed away from Midnight in Paris. I enjoyed Planet of the Apes, it was one of the better ones last year. I just really dug the ending of 13 Assassins. One of my favorite movie endings ever.

dude you would probably like his movies, most of them are about him just fucking hookers and dealing with problems.

THis one was the last thing i expected from Woody Allen.

Its one of the best movies i have seen in last ten years easily. DOnt wanna give anything away but highly recommend

Yeah it got great ratings, which is the only reason I gave it consideration. But I still decided against it. It's now back under consideration.

As I mentioned when i first reviewed Midnight in Paris, I don't typically dig Woody Allen flicks, but i was pleasantly surprised with and enjoyed this one.

Your guys movie cred will be on the line for this one. I might watch it over 3 day weekend. Is this a movie I should watch with a chick, my boys or alone?

Preferably a chick of course, but it doent matter. In a way I think there are parts of it that really relate a lot more to guys anyways since it's about a guy with girl issues on one front.

agree with that, I think its a great movie all around, but chicks dig it. Its in Paris you got them on that alone.
