I said the same thing in another thread. I haven't heard one thing from Obama about the 2nd amendment but for 4 years I've heard these people talking about having their guns taken away.

he's willing to take away due process and other rights, what makes you think he wont go after guns? His entire administration basically lied about fast n furious, ya know where we were shipping guns to mexican drug cartels on the border to create violence there and put restrictions on gun owners there which they have already done. But that was just a completely legit operation that went a little wrong and ended up with multiple government agents dead and american guns in the hands of illegal mexican cartels. Not a big deal. We should bomb Syria and then have full out war and nation building in Iran. All hail emperor Obama

This isn't hard to understand, their are some fucks in this country that are a part of Al Qeada and travel abroad and come back here. THat is indisputable. All these laws have done is made it legal to kill them abroad. Thats what these laws are all about and Eric Holder talked about this just yesterday.

Obama has not called for bombing Syria.

John McCain did yesterday though (seriously). He suggested, actually stated, that America morally should lead the bombing of Syria and arm the Syrian Freedom Forces.

THe main thing I am worried about that Obama has done was allow the fall of Hosni Mubarak and Salleh in Yemen.
Mubarak was a long time fighter of nut job jihadist and knew the threat they posed (any smart Egyptian after the Camp David Accords did) and Salleh (even though he was more like Pakistan in his double games) had basically been forced into helping us vs AQ after the Cole. Thats the big thing that will shape Obama's legacy, just you watch. It isn't health care, it isn't gun control or contraceptives or gay rights.

Its what will become of the middle east after the Arab Spring. Egypt was a friend of Israel since Camp David and Libya had basically become a non threat with a nut job leader since 9-11. Gadhafi may have been loony but he wasn't stupid, he knew after 9-11 the jig was up and he was done bluffing the west.
Syria is Russia's last errand boy in the Middle East and Al Qeada is already there. Thats what this is all about. If Assad falls, Russia has absolutely ZERO control in the middle east and we fear Al Qaeda consuming the power vacuum. (Iran is a based in ME and Central Asia and is all Shite[i][/i] controlled it is unlike any other country in ME, that is why I say this).

If (or more or less when) Israel attacks Iranian nuclear positions, we will be forced to either A) help Israel after the response attack or B) help Israel with the response-attack response invasion.

I have a lot of doubts about Israel being able to handle this alone, in fact, I flat out guarantee they cannot handle this alone. History tells us this. The 2nd Lebanon War and Gaza War of the 2000s were blunders for Israels ground military (an amazing force in 6 Day War, Yom Kippur War and 1st Lebannon War) Israels Air Force has always been amazing, so amazing that most middle eastern countries that suffered their wrath claimed it couldn't have possibly been a Israel force and had to have contained US fighters.

My fear is Iran is so fucking stupid that they will continue along this path that everyone has said will not be allowed. The end result will more than likely be Israel dropping a nuclear weapon with the support of USA, UK, Germany, Japan and most of U.N.

One thing is for sure, if Israel is successful, then god bless them and on to the next problem.... but if they are not successful, we will be pulled deeper into the conflict (we are already in it).

Supporting Israel IF(still a big if) they decide to attack Iran, is much different then the US attacking Iran.

If you feel comfortable giving that much power to Washington ... well fine. But i don't get what fighting the war on terror is for if we are so willing to give up our freedoms and liberties. We are not any safer. These wars create more and more enemies. I dont know when common sense will come back to this country, hopefully it wont be too late.

We aren't giving up freedoms this isn't the Patriot Act. THis is making it legal to kill an american citizen that is abroad fighting in a war against their own country.

I disagree on Iran; China and Russia will not become the martyrs of the U.N. to fight us in their support for Iran.

Syria is a conundrum. Leader killing innocents, sectarian strife, and Al Qaeda is already there. Wont be like Libya.

THe fear is that their main site, has been built into a hinge mountain, a lot of people claim only a nuclear weapon can destroy their sites and Iran has a shit ton of air defense and missiles that can reach Israel. Iraq and Afghanistan border Iran and the middle east wants them stabilized. I think this may play out more like Dessert Storm 2 (bombing campaigns followed by ground campaigns), than an Iraq occupation/ nation building this is going to be destroy target sites and quell Irans response. There will be one.

Hopefully Israels air force can pull it off without anyones help but I have my doubts.
