| was not that manufactured controversy about cancelling a fight between some TUF washouts, but the fact they failed to air the all-of-65 seconds lasting fight between the two women, one of which Strikeforce has already began building to challenge Cyborg. Why not keep the women's division in high profile by airing it on tape delay right after the Shields fight, or even the Mousasi one. With the introductions and post fight comments, the fight still lasts, what, two minutes with editing?
Big. big mistake by Strikeforce.

| I questioned that too. Surely Santos defending her title would be towards the top of a card (if for no reason other than it being a title fight), and her opponent is going to be a complete unknown to most because they didn't squeeze Coenen's fight in somewhere. | |

| not that I remember but im guessing they were trying to jam in commercials during the downtime. And we also saw 2 fights go the distance and no 1st round endings so maybe the night was pushing the limits of their time frame.
I know the fight was only 65 secs but they do have to do some level of intro and hand raising.
I think cancelling a fight flat is worse.

| well I had to record the fights .. but the next day when I went to watch'em, the recording stopped 5 seconds into the first round of the fedor fight.. So I am assuming that they were about 8 minutes over just from that | |
