Ariel Helwani talked to WWE Champion CM Punk in a 30-minute interview
Thursday night, documenting what happened to Punk's planned walkout with
Chael Sonnen at UFC On Fox 2 Saturday and plenty more.
As the event is in Chicago, IL, the interview was done in Punk's home
and Helwani hit up a number of topics with the big MMA fan including:

• What led to the Punk/Sonnen walkout rumors and what killed the chance of it happening

• His opinion on Sonnen's interviews this week and his thoughts on the Fox card as a whole

Love him or hate him, Punk (Phil Brooks) knows the sport, which

Awesome interview made me more of a fan of him. One thing that pisses me off about Ariel is when he asks a question and doesn't let them finish he cuts them off with another one DUDE you are in his house you don't have anywhere to be faggot this guy is on a schedule. I'm shocked at such a long interview out of character it's pretty cool. Yes if anyone doesn't know about the promo he did in Vegas YouTube it cause it was great.

Yeah I don't really know anything about this guy, but it was a good interview. Really does a great job throughout the entire 30 min. Everything he said seemed to be honest, he seemed like a very real dude. He obviously pays attention to the sport. Sharp guy.

He was an Indie star for years and everyone in the know knew he'd be a star but the WWE wanted him to change his style to suit them. He is a great wrestler and stands by his morals. He doesn't drink or take drugs ever.
