I never cared much for Jones, but he was a very gifted fighter with poor fundamentals. As soon as his speed and reflexes abandoned him he was exposed as a man who couldn't take a punch. Not sure what to make of the McCallum fight, considering Mike was 40 years old when they fought.

thanks tim
i've never understood why americans and brits who wish they were american were so critical of joe 'stay at home, calslappy, paper champion' calzaghe but worshipped roy jones jr for staying at home and taking a lot of easy fights on a fat TV contract.
a pre 40 year old bernard hopkins should have been subjected to the same criticisms as well but fair do's to the guy, he's proved he was the real deal with his later work.

How dare you insult the Body Snatcher.
James Toney was a Middleweight at the time Roy beat him.
