| I'll give it a 9. Great finishes and great crowd. Fights were all pretty one sided so not much need to go in depth with my thoughts.
-Aldo is a beast. There is nothing he does not do well. Mendes was not ready for a fighter of Aldo's caliber. He got by on his wrestling alone and thats enough with the guys he fought. He looked hapless vs. Aldo.
-Anthony Johnson is ordinary at the heavier weight classes. He would be pretty ordinary at 185 as well. Now i do think he had some problems which led to him blowing his load in 2 minutes and obviously struggle cutting weight..but i'd pick Belfort even against a fresher AJ. If Johnson does not get his ass fired, i'd like to see him keep going at 170 though im assuming that cut was just too taxing on him. I just don't see him being a high level MW. Good win for Belfort, he had it in the bag after two minutes..which is why Johnson was fighting overly agressive trying to get the big one in because he was done.
- Easy and predictable win for Palhares
- Silva takes the Jon Jones loss but it won't matter as he'll move forward as if it was a win.

| It was watchable only because of Barboza' kick and Aldo's celebration. But again the fights in Brazil were to one sided and leaning strongly towards Brazilian fighters. I am now praying to the MMA Gods that if Sonnen fights Spider, it will be in Brail and he kicks the shit out of him in front of his own. | |

| I gave it a 9 out of 10. Maybe the best KO I have ever seen. Definitely the best KO I have watched live. Aldo made another high level fighter look like a scrub. It was an impressive KO that happened so quickly and at an unexpected moment. The celebration was great as well.
Besides that I'm a Captain Hillhook fan and he did his thing. | |
