2012 End or Not?

Just wondering do u guys believe this is the year the world ends or is it BS??? I was watching a show last night that was talking about it and I think its BS but how bout u guys?

I think something could happen. I def don't think it's the end of the world but some natural fuck up may happen imo.

i have an overwhelming feeling that this is the most important year for humanity. I honestly have no idea what is going to happen, just this feeling like dramatic changes are going to occur.
While i look at the state the world is in right now and the things that are hanging in the balance, i realize that we are truly living through one of the craziest times in history. The world events that are going on right now.... it almost seems like a fucking movie sometimes, like this shit cant really.... be real.

In my honest opinion, and yea this is out there, but i believe that we are either going to have a global awakening and start changing for the better and realizing humanity and love are the most important things in this world, and that only positive energy and positive actions will yield the results we want to see..... or we are going to see just how low humanity can sink.... i beleive this is the year that we discover if we are going to continue down the current path of endless war, government corruption, and consumerism or if we make that paradigm shift and realize our full potential as humans.

The end of the Mayan calender means something. What? I dont know. Lets hope its the end of the cycle of Big tyrannical states and hierarchies and the beginning of a society that allows liberty to thrive again.

As long as the earth doesn't just explode and kill everyone or aliens don't come back to tell us they made us and we're all just their pets I'll be good lol.

hey man if it happens then it happens. Nothing we can do if its just gonna be some natural mega disaster. For me im looking more at world events than some natural disaster. I feel like everything is coming to a breaking point. The world debt, the wars, social unrest throughout the world. I feel like everything is culminating in 2012. Is that just a coincidence? Maybe, but i think that's a bit naive.

Of course someone had to start this lol. Nothing big is gonna happen but something will happen like every year. All I can say is just live your life and don't worry about the dumb shit.

If something goes down I think it has nothing to do with what year it is. Keep in mind that the Mayan calendar stuff is all based on interpretation. No where does it say anything about the end of the world...unless that's how you take it.

I knew Y2k was a joke, that didn't worry me one bit. LOL that brings back some memories. But I honestly think even if it's BS it makes alot more since to be worried about dec 21 2012 then it was to be about y2k.

Well yeah, Y2K didnt even seem like a very big deal in regards to it being the end, even if if you tried to make sense out of why it would happen.

2012 can be anything! If it's going down, i prefer an asteroid. Atleast then we can drill...

Well at the time Y2K had some hype to it. It's been 12 years now so most people don't remember the buzz. It's silly looking back at it now, it wasn't some crazy hype but it had some hype to it for sure. I remember the stupid rumor that the computers will go crazy or whatever, something gay like they couldn't handle the roll over or something. I've smoked waayy too much weed since 2000 to remember exactly. But anyways, I think this whole 2012 will be looked back on with the same silliness. 10 years from now no one will acknowledge any concern about 2012. It's like Y2K 2.0

stop thinking about it in terms of some end of the world disaster. I see the collapse of europe happening, huge national debt that just keeps growing forever. If we dont make changes, eventually there is going to be a breaking point. You think the occupy movement is bad? When we start seeing hyper inflation hit home there will be social unrest like this country hasn't seen since the great depression. 2012 is the year of social unrest. Thats why bills like the NDAA were just passed. The government and the military know whats coming and they've been training for it. Hell, a lot of citizens know too that is why there are record gun sales right now. Just got my 22 and gonna be getting a shotgun. Store up on food, water, and ammunition. We are also going to be involved in a major war in Iran that will involve super powers like Russia and China getting involved.

Collapse of society, for a while, is likely, time to devolve.
