| Harsh considering the surgeries he had to go through. Overeem looked like solid muscle while Brock looked flabby and like he had no power. His heart for the sport was also gone. He did a lot for the UFC in getting new fans to the sport so he did his part. |

Not a bad plan. Plenty of cash to be made there and not nearly the ass beating.

| harsh i think.
lesnar helped to change the face of the heavyweight division imo. all the top HW's we have now knew they could no longer afford to be a fat, lazy fuck like tim sylvia and still expect to win titles.
the HW's are no longer the joke they were 3 or 4 years ago.

All true. Created dumb opinions and beliefs of a lot of otherwise wise minds.

| as most experts on mma sites agree, lesnar went n ther already wanting to retire. Good solid win for reem but lesnar looked like forrest did in his second match with forrest. That kick reem deliverd to lesnar mid section would of stoped mostly anyone in the hw division. Lesnar should now retird considering he doesnt want to compete anymore even before last night. Had a good run and accomplished alot more than most hws have their entire career with just 3 years into the sport. If he ever feels the drive to compete against he would still beat most of the top 10 hws but for now seems to be done. Hopefully he does go back to wwe and doesnt go the embarassing way barnett and fat timmy did last night putting on borin silly gimick matches. On a side note , i doubt anyone here picked the fight to end by a kick kick to the body. Last night lesnar once again showd to have a good chin and not be put to sleep. Most thought it would of been one punch or knees to put him away but instead overeem showed he has improved how to utilize his striking n mma alot more effectively | |

| It ended pretty much how I said it would. Reem kept setting up with knees and it opened up a kick opportunity that ended it for Brock with him turtleing away from the pain very early in the fight. Brock's heart vs punches and strike has thus far always been more in question than his chin versus them. There is no verdict on his ability to actually absorbe strikes because he has been mostly to quick to cower from them and turtle before things get there. I wouldn't call Reems use of knee's anything other than vintage Reem here. | |

| Throwdown, you said Lesnar could beat most of the top HWs and has a good chin. I guess this means there are still a few faithful believers. But it's almost like believing in a religion as dead as Odinism or Astratu at this point. | |

| He doesn't like to be hit, there is no denying that. His chin wasn't the problem last night, it was the knees and kick to the liver that did him in. | |

his chin was never really the problem... as he's always shown a strong chin, he just doesn't like getting hit. BIG DIFFERENCE
