Fight fans looking to get up to speed on all the UFC on Fuel TV happenings will be privy to a new, 30-minute weekly mixed martial arts (MMA) show titled "UFC Tonight," hosted by former World Extreme Cagefighting play-by-play announcer Todd Harris.
In addition, longtime UFC veteran and ESPN 'MMA Live' analyst Kenny Florian will serve as co-host with NFL media magnet Jay Glazer and MMA reporter Ariel Helwani taking on contributing roles.
From USA Today:
Content for UFC Tonight will include interviews, more access to fighters and exclusive angles for fight footage, said Greenberg, who described the program as the "official vessel" for UFC news and information.
The show will be weekly for the first six months. "If we like what we see, it could go a couple of nights a week to possibly every night of the week, depending on performance," Greenberg said.
UFC Tonight" will debut on Jan. 3, 2012, at 10 p.m. ET in advance of the network's first official televised fight card on Feb. 15, featuring a main event between Diego Sanchez and Jake Ellenberger.
