Yeah, I've judged some of his fights before. I only know him from that though. He was ranked the #1 LW Mid-Atlantic Prospect. He was the CFFC LW Champion before moving to the UFC. He was a good wrestler in college, he went to Cornell. He obviously has good wrestling and trains BJJ at Renzo's place in NY but mostly trains under John Danaher there. He has a good right hand and slick transitions from his wrestling days. Gets better and better in BJJ each time I see him fight. He still works as a stock broker on wall street. That's where he met Renzo, he was Renzo's broker.

I didn't see the fight but he won his UFC debut by TKO in round 2. 28 years old he still has some time left. Also at 5"11 he has good height for a LW.

He got his title shot in the CFFC after he beat Stevens on the under card of Silva vs Fedor. He was also the champ of the UCC, that was a small organization that had just started up at the time.
