| To rematch or not to rematch? That is the question. | |

| I'm not against it. I would prefer they moved on just because of Dan's age. But at the same time I don't see a bigger fight out there for him at the moment unless he waits around awhile. I wouldn't be opposed to Dan jumping over Chael to fight Spider but that just isn't going to happen. So with both titles tied up I would favor Hendo vs Shogun II over Hendo vs Rashad. | |

SHOGUN! looks like shogun is ready for a rematch!

| Naa. Not immediately. Do Hendo vs Shad or Rampage again. Or a fight at 185. | |

| I think the fight should go to rematch instantly really. This was a draw fight and everyone, even the guile-less judges who scored the fight, know that. This isn't a rip off like Machida/Rua 1, this is a real draw, I think instant rematch is owed. The fighters owe it to themselves, the UFC owes it to the fans, to finish this right. | |

Hendo is not cutting down to 185 unless its against Silva. I think a rematch would be the best possible fight to make, if its half as good as the last one itll be worth it

HOLY SHIT! and to still come out and dominate the final 2 rounds is crazy!Mike Chiappetta MMA - Quote :
- Sorry, I heard that wrong. It was Hendo who didnt want to go out for Rd 4, not Shogun. Trying to work & listen is tricky. Apologies!

| Hendo vs Rampage II does sound nice as well. The first battle was a good one and I think the rematch would be even better. I would be happy with either fight really Shogun 2 or Rampage 2. | |

same here, i gave Shogun a clear 10-8 at the end, and while Hendo did a lot of damage in the first 3 i think Shogun did enough to keep it from being a 10-8.

| I say no. Reason being, no chance a rematch is anywhere near as good. Let the legend of this fight live for awhile. | |

| i still don't think round 5 was a 10-8. You cant say Hendo wasn't defending at all because he did get to half guard a couple times its not like Rua was in mount the entire round. Hendo made him work for it and Shogun was too gassed to threaten at all despite having numerous submission opportunities in that round. And his punches had nothing on them Hendo was never in real danger. | |

its not that he wasn't defending, it's that he wasn't doing anything else! he outstruck him 5 to 1! if that wasn't a 10-8 then i dont know what is!

| I really think that if you are going to score round 5 10-8, then round 3 has to be a 10-8 for Hendo. I have a hard time rationalizing that a round of positional dominance, with no threat of a finish is worth more then what we saw in round 3 where the fight was almost stopped. | |

in round 3 hendo got dropped, taken down and shogun went for a sub. you can't give that a 10-8 can you?

| Hendo was dominant and deadly for less than half of round three, Shogun won the second half of round three, it was a 10-9 round.
Round 5 was 99% Shogun, Hendo offered nothing, it was the most dominant round of the fight. Easy 10-8.
You can justify 10-9 easily for the third because even though Shogun was rocked bad he still came back with offense in the last three minutes of that round. I couldn't really justify 10-9 for the fifth, Hendo offered nothing against Shogun dominating in strikes and grappling throughout.
