| Bendo vs. Guida was fun, Ben might have won the fight but Guida still has the crown for most atrocious haircut in the UFC. |

| wether jds fights lesnar or reem he will finish them both easily.at least brock has a chance and a chin. funny but from the looks of it since fedors pride run brock has been the most successfull champ. not only that imo he might end up giving jds a better fight than carwin, nelson, werdum or cain did. he'll get ko'd for sure but i could so see brock trying and trying and getting a takedown up until he gets rocked mid way through the second and turtles up, kinda like cain was about to be out today.on a sad note i wore my cain shirt cus everyone in my community was goin for him but its all good. jds should hold the title for a while now | |

| I am pretty confident about Bendo dethroning Edgar, the odds are stacked against Frankie. |

| bendo is a totally differnt fighter now in the ufc. seriously. close fight but the way he controlled guida was just unpredictable. once he was in trouble he turned it up ala forrest in the old days, lol. i still think frankie is the #1 guy and will win but bendo in my eyes is up there with gray and gil. guida was good but bendo was just alot better.i say guida vs gil for gil first fight in the ufc in japan on the undercard of bendo/frankie | |

| won't make a thoughts and rating thread since this was mainly a giant preliminary card with 1 main event and 1 main card worthy bout...so i'll give the rundown in here.
Typical JDS win. Cain played the stand up too long and got what most get when they play the stand up with JDS too long. Shape didnt play any factor at all and Cain is usually fairly soft anyway but i do think layoff played a factor and if the fight went longer, i think that would have became more apparent. Hope we get JDS vs. Overeem. Style wise it's the fight i want to see.
Great performance by Bendo. Not as impressive as his domination of Jim Miller but Guida is considered a higher level opponent so for level points it's a bigger win. It sould be Edgar vs. Bendo next with Melendez getting the winner if he beats Masvidal. I like Guida and all, but i hope people see that it is the same Clay Guida...just because he beat the flavor of the month Pettis, he didnt do it by being anymore than typical Clay Guida. Bendo is ever improving and i had him all the way tonight. I also think he brings a very interesting matchup for Edgar. He'll push the pace much more than Maynard..you won't see headhunter or counter puncher mode like Gray regressed to in both fights with Edgar or Penn lowered himself to in their fights. Right now, i'll stay safe and favor Frankie but i think Bendo has a good chance of defeating him. Next for Guida? Jim Miller
Kid is done. He was done a couple years before he came to the UFC. To not only lose but to be dominated by that guy was just bad news.
Impressive comeback by Peralta. I think he was on his way to winning 2 rounds to 1 anyway, and he also got headbutted and proved to have the harder head.
Caceres had a good outing against the vet. I'm kind of worn on the flash fighters but his pace and then his guard work against a strong grappler was impressive.
Rosa-mouthpiece guy was terrible.
Pierce looked strong as usual. Whichever judge scored it for Bradley must be removed.
It's always embarrasing when a guy plays it like he is so comfortable off his back and then he gets tapped out. Swanson is lucky that the 8 second KO against Aldo happened to him otherwise people might remember this.
missed Johnson's fight as i went to the store to buy drinks..he seemed like a pretty safe bet against his opponent

you know what impressed me tonight? Cain couldn't take JDS down! sorry but yeah, thats what i meant. i was impressed with cain not being able to take jds down but i think he was tring to follow the game plan more than anythin wich was break down jds legs and then eventually be aggressive for the take down. still really good preformance by jds. unless a more equiped cain who piles up 2 solid wins comes back then i dont see anyone beating jds. beats lesnar by tko rd 2, kos overeem rd 1, decisions carwin again in a more competative fight, tkos mir in the 2ns,wont fight nog, tkos werdum in the first, ko's a non roided barnett in the first. maybe cromier might give him a good fight but cormier is 2 fights away from that.

| Just finished the fight and wow! JDS landed the shot and then started bombing and caught Cain right above the back of the ear and Cain went limp. I watched it 20 times. I didn't watch the fight live because I am a P.O.S and had to get the kids and missed it live. I had the tv on and it played live while I was gone though. (Dedication bitches)
I watched the replay and got stunned by JDS (like Cain). I knew it could happen, but I really thought Cain would use his wrestling more. He had a half ass try on a TD and gave it up. Cain lost to a better stand up guy because he gave him the chance! The better fighter lost tonight imo. Hats off to JDS because I like the guy alot. I think he is a true champion. Cain didn't go for the TD enough and he got wobbled bad when JDS caught him. Overeem vs JDS is such a great fight and I want to see it bad. I really want Brock to come out and show what his wrestling has to offer, and beat the shit out of both of em. I have to be real though, and I think we are gonna get to see two of the best HW strikers ever in a title fight....and it is gonna be one bad motherfucker!

| Well, it was just one attempt and it was kind of a half hearted reach for JDS leg. I dpn't feel Cain ever truly shot in the fight.
I was going to say something during Cain's post fight interview with Cormier in the background..was thinking, maybe we'll be seeing him soon vs. JDS. After Ubereem vs. Lesnar, and depending on Nog-Mir..Bigfoot Silva and potentially Josh Barnett can put Cormier in the title picture really damn quick.
