Spider to drive NASCAR pace car next week

UFC champion Anderson Silva to start the Kobalt Tools 500 at Phoenix
International Raceway on Sun., Nov. 13, in the official pace car, a
Toyota Venza. As the official pace car driver in Phoenix’s NASCAR Chase
for the Sprint Cup event, the 36-year-old mixed martial artist will take
an honorary lap on the newly repaved and reconfigured one-mile oval.
"The Spider" tells PaddockTalk.com
that he has "been a NASCAR fan for a long time." Silva is pictured
above with his Bumble Bee-themed Camaro from West Coast Customs.

Most Nascar fans will be pissed it isn't Matt Hughes driving that car.
