Coach prefers Georges St. Pierre cut to 155, not bulk up for middleweight superfight

That's one of the reasons why I wanted him to start doing Olympic lifting, and just a high volume of weightlifting is what will keep him muscular. Because Georges doesn't really put on fat and muscle very easily, and I really think he could lose a little bit of muscle. He doesn't have much fat on him, and a lot of water and a lot of electrolytes. Just doing the weight cut from like 175, he would make it down to 155 quite easily."

GSP doesn't want to fight Anderson Silva and I am pretty sure of that now. Silva probably has about 5 inches more of a reach so I don't blame him. I still think GSP takes Anderson down at will though.

Can they just cut to the chase and come out and say GSP doesn't even remotely want a piece of Anderson so we can move on?

Not at all. I would think Maynard is heavier than 172lbs at his normal weight though. He is a pretty big LW. I was thinking upper 170's to low 180's for maynard. Cutting 17lbs for a professional is nothing.

The odds of GSP moving up to fight Anderson Silva are better than the odds of Anderson Silva moving up to fight Jon Jones.

People remember this is 1 of his coaches saying it not GSP himself.

I have talked about this sooooo many times over the last couple of years. Just appreciate GSP for the dominate Champion he is. He doesn't owe the fans shit, he needs to do what is best for him as a fighter and that is fighting at his OPTIMUM WEIGHT! The weight that allows him to compete at the highest level.

OU I have agreed with u forever that I really dont care to see GSP vs Spider and would rather see fighters stay at there normal weight. Thing that bothers me is why dont he just smash the rumors and say "hey Im not moving up right now and if I change my mind I will let u know". That's all fine, and I agree it's on him wether he moves up for a huge fight or not. But dude, tell your coach to keep mum on moving DOWN in weight. That's what guys on losing streaks do, not dominant champs.
