Hope Paulo Filho can find sobriety. He was kind of like Ricardo Arona that would actually finish the fight with subs before his addictions took over.

Well, Paulo came back and did an interview with Tatame
yesterday, and while he admitted that he has a problem with roofies, he
denies entering rehab and still says he's owed money. He also goes on
to talk about his career which is currently on a major downswing, having
gone 2-3-2 in his last seven fights. Basically, he says that he's
seriously considering retirement after his KSW bout with Mamed Khalidov next month. And he might not even make that fight:

it acts as a downer at lower doses.

for example, if he'd been on a 5 day crack bender he might think it would be a good idea to have a bit of rohypnol to make the comedown less harsh.

i would think it unlikely that someone would take rohypnol by itself to get high, but if you've been off your tits for a prolonged period of time you might use it in conjunction with your uppers.
