| They need to have more competetive fights in Brazil, instead of titling it in favor Brazilian fighters...Though I must say that Forrest looked like he needed to retire after that fight. | |

Yep. Funny nobody mentions that Griffin should retire but Kenny loses a competitive fight and people wonder if he will hang em up?

| Forest hasn't been a perennial also ran his entire career though. Kenny has literally never won the big moment in the UFC. He lost in the final on TUF, he lost all three of his title shots, he's been beaten out of four different weight classes. | |

| Kenny isn't in a division stacked with heavy hitters either. Looking at the last three opponents both Forest and Kenny lost to I came up with the following:
Anderson Silva 35 fights 17 (T)KO's Rashad Evans 18 fights 8 (T)KO's Shogun Rua 25 fights 18(T)KO's
55% (T)KO rate
Jose Aldo 21 fights 13 (T)KO's Gray Maynard 13 fights 2 (T)KO's BJ Penn 25 fights 7(T)KO's
37% (T)KO rate
The point is Forrest fought three fighters who have a long history of knocking people out. To be fair BJ also has 6 submission wins but the fact is the light heavyweight division has far more pure strikers, far more power strikers than the lightweight and featherweight divisions.

| I see everyones point, but I think they should both hang em up. I love Kenny and have great respect for Forrest. It is not like either one needs the money or the company won't take care of them. They both have had great careers, taken fights that the company requested, done things strictly on behalf of the UFC. I say get them to call it a day. We have new fighters coming on the scene now, who will more than make up for their absence... | |
