14-20 is hardest part for me sorry dont shoot me for Brock, his competition is nuts though and he has fared better than expected Kenny Florian was close to being on my list as was Shields

| Brock hasn't faced very stiff competition. An old man, and 1-1 with Mir. | |

| Ya but he is exactly the opposite of pound for pound. Couture would have won that fight if Brock didn't have a huge reach or giant muscles. If they were the same size and Lesnar wasn't a former wrestling star, Brock wouldn't even be in the UFC. He'd be fighting on ShoXC against middling competition.
Was Tim Sylvia a p4p fighter?

Was Tim Sylvia a p4p fighter? Disagree Tim Sylvia didnt show great wrestling skills, he jsut stood banged with you and hoped you fell and he could pounce Lesnar is FAST, STRONG, good resume, and 1 or 2 in Heavyweight division

| Sylvia showed good takedown defense and relied on his speed relative to his length. There are a lot of tall fighters with long arms who don't have nearly the resume Sylvia has. Size + some skill.

Exactly, BJ moves up mulitple divisions and loses a decision only to one of the best LHWs in the World (He may not have been ranked there then but it was pretty much the same old Machida) GSP moves up and fights Fedor, and only loses a decision, who does that say more for?

| That would be the same imo, but there is no way Fedor doesn't finish GSP. | |

| Not so sure Spider doesn't finish Fedor. Coin flip for me. It it goes to the ground it's over though, Fedor by manhandling. I really don't know what to think of a fight between those two. | |

| Silva would have to keep it on the outside and wait for Fedor to come in. If he tries to clinch he gets Judo tossed like a ragdoll, blackbelt in judo or not, by Fedor.
Fedor is really fast and dangerous from the outside too. I think Silva would be his toughest fight outside of the big meatheads, but Fedor has a lot more in his tool kit and physically working for him than the Spider does.

| Shrink Brock down to a regular sized fighter and he'd be like any average D1 wrestler type fighter coming out of TUF early in their career, Koscheck, Maynard, Rashad, Bader and so fourth. He'd still be a long way from the best in his own weight class, nevermind the rest of the sport. | |

Disageree shrink Brock down and he is the biggest mother fucker in the division able to make weight with a wrestling pedigree to make people shiver dont you agree?

dont you agree? Nah what he'd be is a super strong talented wrestler in said division, but at HW he can enjoy a huge size discrepency, which isn't really possible at other weight classes. A GSP, Anderson, BJ, whoever, are highly skilled guys, who can win fights in multiple weight classes, if they were all Brock's size, they'd destroy him.

| He doesn't have the wins yet, P4P isn't exactly like list your 20 best fighters in the World, other things come into play.
But back to ur BJ or GSP thing, if those guys are Brocks size, they, in GSP case have equal or better wrestling, better standup, JJ ect. and BJ is one of the hardest guys to take down in MMA, with sick JJ an maybe the best Boxing in MMA, Brock's advantages at HW are incredible size, strength and athletism, but he's not as talented a fighter as either of those guys, or many others, if they're his size, they're better.

| while I totally agree with you tolive wouldnt you agree Brock gives them a damn good fight and doesnt just roll over for them? thats what I think atleast dont worry I know how P4P works I just really think Brock gives all these top guys a damn good fight and could beat some of them, maybe I am wrong
Just curious, where did you rank Rua before the machida fight? cause he wasnt sniffing my top 10 before

| Call me LA, it's easier, but
Its' tough to say, I do think Brock is legit, and the 2nd best HW right now, but ur making some of the most talented fighters in the World Brock's size, they'd hold a lot of advantages.
Shogun wasn't near my top 10 before the fight, tough to say exactly where cause all the other fights that have went on since then, like if he loses again, but it's not close, he moves to the high teens, a close fight but loss, tough to say, win he's 5th
