Page talks about his loss to Jon Jones this past saturday, what' the deal with his walkout music?

On his walkout music- Page just wanted to remind everybody that he is a winner no matter what cause he got out of the ghetto.

"No matter who I fight win or lose(know what I'm saying lol) I'm already a winner cause I dodged that bullet, I've dodged bullets litterally I'm just glad to be where I am".

On his gameplan- "the gameplan was to use my head movement to get close to him" "We had a great gameplan I just choked" Page says "I was worried about the wrong things, worried about getting poked in the eye I just wasn't myself out there."

On why he choked- "I don't know I think it was his reach it bothered me alittle"

On respect for Jon Jones "I respect him cause he beat me at my best"

I honestly think Jones had Rampage scared of him, whether you agree with that or not he was def far more cautious than he should've been.

I don't know if he choked, but it is not like the reach was just something that showed up all of a sudden, and a hand in your face, knock it away, move lateral and side to side, instead of straight in, I think he had one game plan and that is just not going to work against someone like Jones

I think it's the same with Anderson and Jones, if you sit back and wait to see what they do your fucked. Their opponents have alot better of a chance if they stay in their face and bring the fight to them. Although Anderson has proved that he can KO a dude while going backwards.

However you want to say it, Page just wasn't aggressive enough, didn't let his hands go and that's why he looked like crap.

I said before the fight and I will say it now, Page knew he couldn't win and had a fear of this fight with Jones.

I disagree. he thought he could beat the kid and quickly realized it was harder than he thought.

Fear has nothing to do with any of this. Implying so is pretty ridiculous, like saying Diaz doesn't duck tough fights or something. Nobody was scared of a thing out there on Saturday. Bones was just better, closest fight he has been in since Bonnar, and longest.

I don't think he was afraid at all. I think when he started to realize he couldn't close the distance on Jones by being the aggressor, and started hanging back hoping to close on the counter or slip and press. I was really impressed with Rampage's ability to keep Jones from manhandling him in the clinch. Yeah Jones muscled him into the fence every time but he couldn't get the trip or the throw. Unfortunately for Jackson the striking attack of Jones was just too much to process for him. Who knows if he could have had success if he just went out guns blazing, but whats clear is there is no simple way to beat Jon Jones right now.

There is no simple blueprint gameplan that is going to take him out of there like what GSP did to Koscheck. What it's going to take is either a better, or equal wrestler who has at least a similar amount of athleticism but competant enough striking to not get ruined standing. Right now the only fighters in the division I can see who have those qualifications are Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans, and King Mo . Jones' next two fights should be interesting.

I guess I shouldn't have used the word fear or scared. Maybe I should've just said Page knew he couldn't beat him before, during, and after the fight. That wasn't the Rampage that we have been watching all of these years though, and confidence wasn't there like it was in the 2nd fight with Chuck and the 3rd fight with Wandy. If it makes him/us feel better to say that he choked, then so be it.

The confidence wasn't there like in those fights between Chuck and Wandy aren't hard to punch in the face. Bones is

I believe he was very confident going in and about 2 minutes into the 1st round he realized damn this dude is hard to hit!

rampage showed great movement especially in close , he avoided most of jones arsonal but never got off. I told people before the fight page had to slip and throw to get inside preferabally get off first. Not only did he not he reacted to jones which is bad IMO unless you throw off of every strike jones throws. those knee kicks while effective could have been answered with a 1,2 to get within reach. Jones really was concerned about rampages power and it showed. I think rampage needs new evolving fighters to train with. Possibly a sports shrink aswell

Fanboyism is a word that should be created and used for this thread. I love Rampage and wanted him to KO Bones, but I will call it like I see it when it comes to any fighter or any fight. Keep it real fella's even if it hurts to say it.
