| Thinking about how bad I want Wandy to beat up Cung, I thought I'd just make a thread listing fights that I got some emotional investment in. I know the deal some of you guys aren't the kind of fan I am. But I get into this shit like you wouldn't believe there probably a reason I only have like three friends that will watch mma with me lol. Cause when BJ lands a sweet strike you better believe I'm making sure everyone in my house and my block knows it, When Nick starts to lock in a sub I'm already in mid victory lab in my living room. It's worse when things don't go my way.
It comes from an upbringing I had were the mood of the house depended on the buckeyes performances on saturday. I'm a fan of my favorite mma fighters the same as I am about Ohio State Football, I take this shit seriously and sometimes personally even when I shouldn't. But I don't do anything halfassed not even when it come to cheering on a fighter lol. Anyway here's the fights coming up that I will be emotionally invested in
-Page vs Jones, which by the way I'm getting the ppv saturday now SWEET!, I've been a big fan of Rampage ever since my cusin Terry come over to my house along time ago with a pride dvd and introduced me to pride. I did lose alot of respect for him during the TUF he did vs Rashad, he was a straight up bully to a guy he couldn't help call "Titties" and it really turned me off to Page for awhile. But who can stay mad at Rampage lol this fight with Jones has really brought me back to Pages side and I'm really hoping he gives Jon Jones his first loss.
-Nate Diaz vs Gomi. Diaz bros fan right here, that hasn't changed with the most recent fuckup by Nick, Nate needs this win and I hope he gets it. How sweet would it be if Nate subed Gomi with a gogoplata like big bro lol I would go fucking ape shit!
-Guillard vs Lauzon. At the same time I was finding out Nick had a little brother that I could route for I saw my favorite fighter training a kid named Lauzon or as BJ called him "Creepy Joe" LOL that I thought alot of. As most of you know I'm a sucker for guys that use their bjj offensively and aggressively and that my friends is what Joe Lauzon does! I'm hoping for this fight to look like Nates fight against Guillard, where Nate started losing the standup and quickly subed Guillard as soon as he slipped up. Joe is def capable of making that happen but it's just as likely that he eats a major shot before it ever goes to the ground which would be very bad for him.
-GSP vs Condit. I've been a fan of Condit since I saw him sub Brock Larson to keep his wec ww title, I've never really been emotionally invested in any of his fights tho. It's just that everything in me just wants to see GSP go down and go down hard. I would love if somehow Condit got away with something that gave him a slight advantage so GSP can see how it feels. Someday it all will come back around on him. And I'll be watching and loving every second
-And the mother of all for me. BJ vs Nick Diaz. I'm just gonna be one ball of fucked up emotion for that fight. No matter what whoever wins I'll be happy and sad at the sametime, then I'll be mad at myself for being happy one of them lost. I'm truely fucked for that one.
-Wandy vs Cung. I don't know one mma fan who doesn't fuckin love the axe murderer, how the hell do you not? He's like the definition of exciting fighter. If you look up exciting fighter there should be a pic of Wandy during a stare down! An epic battle to a decision with Cung wouldn't make it hurt as bad but if Wandy gets completely dealt with my heart is gonna be broken.

| GSP is my favorite fighter by far so I get very nervous during every one of his fights.
Brock vs Carwin. I really wanted Brock to prove that he belonged and to shut Wolf up and he pulled out the victory.
When Fedor lost to Werdum a part of me died. |

| I don't know why but Fedors loss to Werdum didn't hurt as much as the loss to Bigfoot. I mean I felt fine saying to myself hey sooner of later someone had to catch him somehow. But the complete destruction of Fedor by Bigfoot broke my heart. | |

When Fedor lost to Werdum a part of me died. Did that really prove anything though? Except that Carwin has no gas tank. If anything the beating he took in round 1 was the first step in eliminating the "Brock Smash" illusion that casuals had. | |

At the time everyone had Brock and Carwin as the 2 and 3 ranked HW's so I was just glad Brock beat a legit top 5 guy. |

| Hey I'll say this Brock took an assbeating in that first round and he didn't fold, that's more than I can say for some. I'm still anti-Brock tho | |
