Pac 12 not expanding

Like I said before Texas will be independent. Nobody wants a team with their own network.

I think you're right man. When they leave BYU, WVU, and UofL will join the Big 12 I hope. I would love to beat the Sooners in football in a few years and basketball almsot every year.

And it sounds like neither of them will make it academically. OSU wont for sure.

Not so sure about that anymore, sounds like Texas could lose their network deal if that happens. Plus, who's gonna want to play them if no one will see the games?

That's my biggest problem with conference realignment, you wont see LSU/Oregon or OSU/Miami anymore. Way too much to lose in games like that and I see only 2, maybe 3 non conference games period.

These are education insitutions first and foremost. Normally I am against the government stepping in and handling stuff but the BSC and the conferences are all kinds of fucked up and need someone to set them straight.

I agree. It's a huge sham. All this effort to keep a dollar out of exploited players pockets while chancellors and administrators cannibalize the fuck out of them selves for more money. College athletics, mainly football, is pretty gross. Always has been but the level is worsening at an exponential rate.

I agree with everything but that. Just because they don't make millions at 18-20 years old hardly makes them exploited. They get well into 6 figures of free education at most schools and for the top guys/top programs, they get exposure that would cost at least that much.

I do agree that it's despicable, but everything business related is anymore. Anywhere money can be made for someone, it will be.
