Looks like Big Nog vs Mir at UFC 140

A heavyweight standoff between two big names has been booked for December, as former UFC heavyweight champions Minotauro Nogueira and Frank Mir have verbally agreed to rematch at UFC 140 in Toronto.

"Both men are known as two of the premiere submission specialists in the division but have shown dangerous striking skills as well," said UFC president Dana White.

Really is a classic fight here. Even if both are in their mid-30's and people don't like Mir a lot.

I think Mir wins.

I think Nog fairs better than before, but still loses.

I think Nog gets knocked out somewhere in the 2nd round

Nog hits hard enough still, we know that much. Ii expect another stand up fight.

Mir unfortunately will win.

Im rolling Mir here. Fairly academic actually, but given the state of nog in the first go with Mir, and the recent win, this is a good fight to make.

Hope Nog proves me wrong.

Maybe after the surgeries Nog is really healthy now and can kick Mirs ass.

eh, he was getting picked apart by Schaub. Landed the big one, but I was not impressed by his performance.

Two great fighters, but I have seen it, the only difference now is Mir believes in his striking even more and Nog is even slower, don't see this one ending well for him.

wow, lil love for nog. I will never count him out. Still i favor mir even though imo he hasnt looked so great after brock and carwin had their way with him. This fight might of looked better 2 years ago between the time nog was fighting randy and mir was destroying kongo, still should be a good scrap between 2 of the best hws of the past decade. Good scrap for the vets that imo could go either way

even though nog is much healthier this time around I see the same results as last time.
