UFC Still Might Be Targeting Anderson vs Hendo for UFC on Fox Special:

This is the kind of big-time fight that Fox show needs, hopefully they're targeting Reem vs Mir as well.

I have no desire to see Dan cut back down when he's clearly fighting at his peak and best weight right now. Him against Lyoto I would have no problem with

I like this fight at 205. Like it has been said Hendo is a better fit there. Plus Anderson at 205 makes more sense since his title will belong to Okami.

Great fight but not at 185 or any kind catchweight, 205 or Silva will make it look just like the last fight.

I'd like it to be for the tittle, but only if Hendo feels he can make the cut with out it affecting him.

They're targeting Mir vs Overeem?

Reem vs Mir would be a better choice imo. Build Reem up for the US audience cause I don't see Mir pulling out a win. It could happen but then, no.

Might not even be at 185 for the Title, could just be at 205 and a great fucking fight to showcase MMA and the UFC on Fox. These are the kind of fights and fighters you want to put in this first Fox show. I wonder if Anderson loses to Okami (doubt it) that Machida vs Hendo would be a backup.

This is just a rumor that appears to have some legs, might not happen, but it's the kind of fight that should be on Fox.

Shogun vs Machida 3 or Reem vs Mir would be the kind of fights on want on there as well considering all the other booked fighters.

The one fight I have been waiting along time for and at 205 my boy dan takes it this time.

Yeah from what I read Hendo said he won't go back to MW, so maybe this fight takes place at LHW? Maybe they fight at a 195lb catchweight or something? Should be easy for both men.

They need to have younger, up-and-coming scrappers in this, not the same old guys we have seen for years. Yes they have more name recognition, but that doesn't always translate into a great fight.

nah, they need names for Fox. And both of these guys are still riding high. and both come to fight.

I understand where Dana/Andrew is coming from, use the platform to create some new stars for the sport.

I think the Guida vs Bendo fight will fit what they are looking for. You have a future title contender at the very least, maybe even the next UFC Champion. You will have non stop action, hair flying around like crazy, two mad men going to war. They don't have the names right now which is the only thing. But you could have the "names" in the other fight.
Just as a side note, it was mentioned before by killer that the look of Reem alone would attract people. Just for looks alone, Kongo vs Reem would be an impressive sight.

Kongo is too risky for the reem, it could be a lose lose... but i would love guida vs bendo as one of the fights, i think i suggested that in the thread earlier

I wasn't suggesting the fight. Just adding to the thought you had the other day about the look of Reem. Just saying the LOOK of Reem vs Kongo is something crazy.
