Not sure how many of ya'll have seen the movie but it's a decent Saw/Torture Porn type movie with a powerful message in the plot line. I recommend it if your into that kind of flick.

I just got done watching Martyrs, awesome fucking movie. It had a rolling plotline that shifted from one character to another and was comprised of several "smaller stories" in the movie as a whole. When one small part came to a decisive close the next one immediately opened up. Intense is an understatement.

I just finished watching it also. I think the first hour was as good as any movie I've seen in a while. The last half hour was frustrating and disappointing though. Seems to me, based off of the first hour, there could of been better story to conclude the film than what was thought up by the writer. But overall, worth checking out.

Honestly the way it ended was way more intense than I thought it would be. Compared to the girl Ana found in the downstairs what she got in the end was far more brutal. Also the inside look to the process in creating the kind of result they are looking for was really well put together, at least I thought so. All in all I agree that this is one of the better movies I've seen in a very long while. It was deeper than the "torture for torture's sake" type movies like Hostel and it had some very real messages.
