Guess I'll be the odd ball and say he should be let go. Just throwing punches does not make you a MMA fighter. I know guys that have so much heart and can hit as hard as a mule kicks. This alone does not make them good MMA fighters. One thing Hardy has that they dont is the fan base across the pond. That is what is keeping Dan on board in the UFC.

I think he should be let go.


With that said he's too valueable as a marketing tool in England for them to cut him right now.

He completely fits the Strikeforce roster of strikers, but his heritage makes for a solid draw in Europe for the UFC. Hardy against Cyborg, Smith, or Zaromskis would be awesome wars.

In general I don't agree with cutting fighters just because they've lose a certain amount of fights. If the fighter is rapidly declining or is being a nuisance then yes cut them, but if it's entertaining guys like Hardy and Akiyama keep them for as long as people enjoy watching them fight.

At least put Hardy on the UK show before any drastic decisions are made. Hardy vs Amir Sadollah !

Still liking Hardy vs Ludwig, Duane will just want to bang, but honestly he's a better striker then Dan so that might not end well, still a great fight for both guys.

i know Joe Roe kept calling it but WHY da fuck did Hardy go away from kicking in that fight, in the first round he landed 2 awesome head kicks and 1 to the body and then completely went away from it

Should of, but Lytle kept taggin him over the top, and really out boxed him, kick could have got him taken down and subbed earlier, Chris caught one of the kicks in the 1st I remember and Hardy fell or something, might have worried him, IDK..
