They played a "special sneak peak" last night on FX during SOA commercial break.
Last night I took my copy of halo 2 to a friends house and we played split screen... Totally lost track of time and ended up playing for 4 hours lol. SOOO many memories with that game

As Halo 4 nears its November 6th release date, Microsoft has issued a whole glut of Halo-related statistics, revealing how many units the franchise has shifted since its inception in 2001. From 2001 when Halo: Combat Evolved first launched on the original Xbox, the Halo franchise has racked up an impressive 46 million units sold.
That equates to more than $3 billion in revenue overall. Halo 2 made $125 million on its first day, while Halo 3 managed to generate $170 million on launch day too. Halo: Reach meanwhile, racked up $200 million in day one sales revenue. That's a whole lotta moola.
More than 5 billion hours of gameplay have been recorded on Halo games across Xbox Live too, with 20 billion games played, and 100,000,000,000 kills accumulated in total across Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach. That's a Spartan/Covenant genocide! Oh, the humanity!
